Diaper pail?

Where do dirty cloth diapers usually go before they hit the washing machine? Diaper Genies are used for disposable diapers, is there an equivalent for cloth diapers? We have two dogs, too. One that already likes going through bathroom trash so I can see this being very enticing for her.

We're taking a cloth diapering class in a few weeks so my question might be answered then but I'm antsy!

We got a $15 kitchen trash can with a cover and foot pedal at Target. I have 2 pail liners that fit it perfectly and I always have one ready to go. I think a lot of people do this.

Ah, we have similar dogs I see

We got a plastic simple human one with a locking lid from bed, bath, and beyond. We used a 20% off coupon-I forget how much it was.

I use a stainless steel trashcan with a lid and a planet wise wet bag (not the ones that zip) - that's been stink proof and doggie proof for almost 2 years ;-)

Swing lid kitchen trash can and planetwise liner. This may not be dog proof though, but my toy poodles can't get in it. lol

I have a similar concern with one of my three dogs! I've decided to get something that locks. I'm probably going to use a Planetwise liner in it.

I looked everywhere for a trash can with locking lid to no avail, so I ended up just buying a Diaper Champ. It accepts all kitchen-size trash bags (so, wet bags). I don't bother using the airlock-style disposal mechanism on the top of the can, I just open the lid each time, no problem.
