2+ moms..if the first LO was late, was your second?

Hey, all! Just in a guestimating mood...my LO was a week late, and I had to be induced...just curious if your second LO was late...and also, if you were induced the first time, did you have to be induced for the second? Thanks so much!

I have heard that if your first came early, your second is more likely to be early, too - but, among my friends, it's the opposite (their second comes later than their early first). So who knows!

I was induced with my 1st at 38w for high blood pressure, and I went into labor on my own with DS2 at 39w. I actually had no idea I was in real labor with #2 (since I was induced with #1) - the contractions weren't regular (but they kept getting stronger, but never on a consistent time-able basis). I finally went to the hospital just to get checked, and I was nearly 10cm. Ooops.

My first was 4 days late (was induced), my second was 8 days late, and I went into labor on my own.

DS1 was 3.5 weeks early, and DS2 was 2 days late.

I'll speak up as an early mom: both kids were early and born within a few days of one another in terms of gestation. I went into labor on my own both times.

Was induced with DD due to no progress after water broke at 38 weeks. DS born at 37 weeks NOT induced

I was induced at 41 weeks with DS#1 and ended up having a c-section. I was hoping for a VBAC with DS#2 but my OB wouldn't let me go past 40 weeks. So, I scheduled a c/s for 39 6/7 weeks. Never had any inkling of labor before the c/s unfortunately.
