Figured I'd ask moms of the same age group babies too - I have a Bob which I use for running, but to fit it into my trunk, the trunk would have to be empty (ha!) - and it is kind of a pain. Plus I'm not so sure my son is so comfy in the Bob, really. Anyhow, I still use the snap n go w/the Snugride 35, but he's at almost 29 inches, so I'm assuming I'll have to move on in a few months to a new stroller for travel and every day errands. I'm conficted btwn getting something very compact/light, vs. getting something that would be easy for me to use, vs. getting the most comfy option for my son (who is 9 months, almost 29 inches, and 19 pounds).
I have the opportunity to get a stroller for an Xmas present, so...
Lots of folks recommend the Baby Jogger City Mini - I tried it and it does push nicely, fold easily, and the 2011 has the extra support in the seat compared to older models, but it isn't the MOST comfy cushiony of strollers, nor the most compact. Some folks recommend the Maclarens, but it is tough to choose which and I'm not convinced they are so great, and then I tried a Perg Prego that seemed extra comfy for the baby and nice to push, but I worry that the one that will grow with him is maybe too heavy? Not sure. Any recs? I do plan on having a 2nd child, so I don't know if I should plan accordingly with something that would work for the 2nd, or just plan on using my Ergo and this stroller, etc. Or just get a very cheapo umbrella stroller and try to keep using the Ergo?
Re: Travel and Errand Stroller (repost from Gear board)
We love our city mini! Liam seems super comfortable in it. I use it for walks in our neighborhood and shopping trips. Unless you plan on taking your little one for 3-5 8hour shopping trip days a week, I wouldn't worry about an ultra plush stroller. Plus, I look for ease at pushing him around when we are out shopping. I need one that I can use one handed.
We've spent whole days at the zoo, shopping days, use it in large restaurants and have never had any issues. I love the one hand fold-up and it does store nicely in our car.
I had a graco stroller and an eddie baur prior to this. The eddie baur was super plush and comfy but it was so large and hard to maneuver.

We have a Baby Jogger City Elite for our walks and jogs around the neighborhood. But for travel, the mall, etc we have a Chicco Liteway. I love it. It's nicer then an umbrella stroller, but it a smilar size.
Not sure if that's what your looking for though. We have gate checked it and used it in the airports, and its still in perfect condition and works great!
