6. Your story- DH and I started TTC July 23, after stopping bc July 22. We got our first bfp August 23, but I started to mc on September 3. My MW believes that I had a blighted ovum, but doesn't know for sure. After waiting 2 cycles, DH and are now trying again, and will be entering our 2ww shortly

6. Your story: We started TTC in May 2010, my mom died August 20th, I found out I was pregnant September 22nd. I had some minor spotting, was placed on prometrium, had a few viability ultrasounds, and despite being told on 10/21 that we had a (slow) HB, I found out on 11/1 that my pregnancy, as the doctor "delicately" put it, was "doomed to fail." I had a D&C on 11/3. Pathology revealed abnormal, non-viable tissue, but fortunately they ruled out a molar pregnancy. If AF ever shows up, we plan to TTC again next cycle.

6. Your story- We had been TTC for 6-7 months or so. During which time we almost lost DD to a severe dog attack. She had to have her face reconstructed and is doing wonderful. We took a 2 month break or so while we got her better. Our first month back TTC we got our BFP in late Oct. I had a natural M/C on 12-5. We plan on TTC as soon as we can. I want to heal first.

7. Any questions you might have. How many cycles should you wait before TTC again? Do your chances of M/C really go up after you have had one?

I've been here for almost 3 months as well, but can't pass up a GTKY opportunity Angel So, can I play too???

4. How long have you been with SO - we met and dated for 3 years, then we were engaged for 1 year, and now we've been married for a little over 2 years = all-in-all we've been together almost 7 years total

5. Honeymoon Location - Riviera Maya Mexico

Your story - we threw all forms of BC out the window in late 2008 after we got married and played the "lets see what happens" game for a while (needless to say, nothing happened) I started charting later on in 2009 and it took me a few cycles to really get the hang of things, so then we really started actively trying at the beginning of this year. Unfortunately in one whole year we only managed to successfully get pg one time, and that sadly ended in a missed and natural m/c at almost 8 weeks. I needed Provera to end my first post m/c cycle after nearly 10 weeks of waiting, and now we're onto Clomid in hopes of shortening my cycles. FX it works and we get a BFP very soon!

6. Your story- We started TTC late July and got a BFP in September. I mc'd November 10th - 1 month ago today at 11wks 5days. We're still waiting for the results of the tissue tests, and I'm still monitoring my HCG levels (down to 8 last week, will test again Monday because my doctor wants to watch it go to <2). We're not officially TTCAL so right now I'm mostly a lurker here (much more active on the MC/PL board), but we're starting to look forward to when we will be. My doctor advised us to wait 3 cycles, but we're pretty sure we'll wait until April or May.

6. I've had 2 perfect pregnancies resulting in a DD and DS. We decided to have 1 more and m/c'd at 11 weeks 3 days on Sept 21, 2010. I never thought this would happen to me and am completely heartbroken. My husband tries to be supportive but has been over it for months now. I feel like I am grieving our baby by myself while the rest of the world continues on like nothing happened. We are tentatively planning to TTC in March 2011. I am beyond terrified of getting pregnant and having another m/c.

7. I want to know when I'll stop thinking about how pregnant I should be and when I'll be able to think about our 3rd baby without feeling like I'm going to throw up.

5. Honeymoon Location-None. Sad I know! We started saving up for a house right away (CA real estate is ridiculous!) so the whole honeymoon thing is on the backburner.

6. Your story- DH and I decided to start a family back in the fall of 2008. I went off birth control and started taking PNV. We got pregnant right away only to lose the pregnany soon after. I got pregnant 2 more times in the next year only to have those pregnancies end early as well. Doc finally started RPL testing and discovered the APS. We're on hold for the time being while I finish up a couple of rounds of antibiotics. Now every time I log onto TB I obsessively check on my ticker to make sure February is getting closer!

6. Your story- After DH got back from being gone with the Navy, we started trying in Sept. BFP 11/9. On 11/13, spotting started and I had a bad feeling. 11/14...there was no question as to what was going on. Thankfully no D&C was necessary. Right now I'm just hoping it really was the fluke thing all the doctors said. The not knowing if its a sign of things to come is what's been troubling me the most.

This is my first time posting here but I have been lurking and reading and being comforted by the fact that there are so many great women out there to get support from. You have all been so helpful to me!!! So let me introduce myself

5. we didn't actually go on a honeymoon, we moved across the country 4 days after the wedding. So we joke that our move was the honeymoon and that the midwest is a top destination for romance

6. my husband and I found out I was pregnant in late September. We were so excited and drove to see our family and tell them in person. We have a great 8 week appointment and had saw and heard the amazing heartbeat of our little one. A few weeks later we started telling friends our exciting news. Then a few days before my 12 week appointment I started bleeding. I tried not to worry too much and called my doctors office over the weekend. They didn't seem too worried but wanted me to come in so they could check things out. I already had an appoitnemt for Tuesday so I waited until then. My husband and I went to the doctor and after I told them about the bleeding they tried using a dopler to see what they could hear. No luck. So into the ultrasound room we went and that is where I will hear the words that haunt me..."I'm Sorry....there is no heartbeat. It is still measuring at about 8 weeks. I am so sorry." I just started crying and then our rollercoaster began. I had a d&c the next morning (2 weeks ago) and have been trying to figure out where to go from there.

Everyone keeps saying that loss like this is soooo common, but that doesn't help. I never imagined that this could happen to me. To add a little more to this pain, we not had to untell all of our friends and faily. Luckily my husband is an amazing man and he worte an email which he sent our to everyone we had told and explained to then how much we appreciated their excitement and support. This meant that I didn't have to have any awkward converations, just hugs and love from friends and co-workers.

I know it will take time to work through all of this but we are determined to have a baby so I we will continue trying until we do.

Your story - Oh my, too long to type everything all out honestly..started trying in Sept 08, had 2 early losses, and then what I thought was finally my take home baby was not meant to be either, after sailing through our NT scan with a very low risk test result, we found out at 25 weeks our son had previously undetected Trisomy 13, and at my 39 week appt we learned his heart had stopped and I was induced the next morning. Conner was beautiful and is now my perfect little angel.

7. Any questions you might have. - I lurked for about a month before hitting that post button, so I think I have much of it down..and I try to ask questions as I go along, but I must say the TTCAL blog is amazing, after 2 years at TTC I thought I had read most of the info out there, but I learned several new things when reading it..all newbies should check it out!!!

5. Honeymoon Location CA...DH had never been. I actually grew up there most of my school years.

6. Your story- DH & I went off BC 1-5-10, I started charting end of May and FINALLY after 5 months of charting got a BFP. Sadly it ended up being an live ectopic measuring 6 weeks 4 days on 10/23 and the methotrexate shot did not work. I ended up having surgery & loosing my right tube. Since I hadn't gotten AF, I thought I had what was a 2nd BFP last week (& old doctors office thought it was as well), was told it was another ectopic on Monday (but symptoms were diff). Went to another drs office & apparantly since my betas were super high with the ectopic it may have been a twin pregnancy with a twin they missed in the uterus-with remaining tissue left in my uterus which made my betas go up again. My betas were down to 27 Wed and I finally started to bleed last night-so I am hoping this roller coaster will end soon. More labs today & a follow up next week. I'll probably take some time off to get a real AF.

7. Any questions you might have. Hmmm...I'd like some promising news on ectopics. Everything I find is doom & gloom. What are some ways I can increase my fertility this new year? Should I get help?

Scheduled a d&c the next morning, went home ended up passing him after a couple hours. I never realized you could m/c and still see your baby. Still had a d&c the next day due to not passing all the tissue. 7. I really want to be an active part of this group and be there for you ladies,, just having a hard time knowing what to say. 6. Your story- Found out I was pregnant in august and on September 7th I had a natural miscarriage. We were going to tell our family we were pregnant the day it happend. I work with my inlaws so they were already suspicious with me missing days to go to the dr so we were going to tell them and my immediate family. We had bought t-shirts that said guess whose going to be a grandma, mom, and dad and we were all wearing them when we were on the way to my DH families lake house. needless to say we ended up in the emergency room all decked out in our cute little shirts, to find out we had lost our precious little one.

7. Any questions you might have. I just dont understand why people say just relax and you will get pregnant again, or whats taking you guys so long to get pregnant again (actual words from a coworker, non family member) Think before you speak people!!!!

6. Your story- I have a DS who is 13 months old and had a pretty normal, uneventful pregnancy. We found out we were expecting again the beginning of Sept. I had some spotting (which I had with DS) and was very sick for about 12 weeks. The spotting continued and I thought it was strange but my OB's office kepts saying it was normal. On Nov. 23 at 15w4d I called and insisted I come in. While walking in to the OB my water broke. I had to hold it together since DS was with me. The pathology report showed a folic acid deficiency even though I had been taking prenatals and had a healthy diet, they could not tell me why my body changed the way it processes from my previous pregnancy. We are waiting for AF to show and after a month of a pretty strict vitamin regimin we will be trying again.

7. Any questions you might have: I am just glad there is a place to go, I feel like a lot of my friends do not understand and some are treating me differently which is driving me nuts!

6. Your story- DH and I have been trying since 9/08 for a baby. In May 2010 I was told that I didn't ovulate.. we went on a break to absorb all of this. Early July I started feeling symptoms.. I decided to POAS not thinking anything but just to make sure before I started taking meds or anything.. It came up BFP and I was so excited. On July 14th, 2010 I started bleeding and it was confirmed a CP. It's hard to think about that it may have been my only chance to get pregnant without fertility drugs..

6. We accidentally got pregnant 3 years ago, but had a missed miscarriage at 9w6d (D&C, no complications). Since then we have not been using any form of BC but weren't getting pregnant, or trying for that matter. In August before our wedding I knew something was up so I started some fertility testing. Come to find out I have PCOS and I am not ovulating. So as soon as we got back from our wedding-moon I started my first cycle of clomid. Much to my surprise, we got a BFP, only to have a natural miscarriage around 7 weeks (week of Thanksgiving). Since then I am scared to death to actively TTC, so I've decided charting and fertility treatments are out the door until further notice, so DH and I can get back to having fun just "trying" the good old fashion way. :-) We have also decided to plan B (domestic adoption) into action, and if we get pregnant in the meantime, great, if not we've already got the lengthy and expensive adoption process underway.

6. Your story- We were doing the "not preventing" form of trying and were really surprised at getting pregnant right away (a FH I suppose). We found out at our 6 week apointment that we wouldn't have an ultrasound until 20 weeks but the OB would listen for a heartbeat with a doppler at our 10 week appt. At our 10 week appt, they couldn't find the heartbeat with the doppler and went ahead and did an ultrsound. Unfortunately, my first image of my little one was of a still body with no flicker of a heartbeat; we had lost him/her the week before. I had a D&C the following week, and am currently waiting for AF so we can try again (actively this time), so that we can be on our way again. We got our hopes up with the first pregnancy, so now I have this internal urgency to make it happen sooner rather than waiting for the "not preventing" method to work its magic.

7. Any questions you might have. I've read a lot of posts, so I feel like I have a pretty good idea of how the board works. I just wish I knew how to keep up with responding to all of the posts like some of you ladies do!

6. We began to "see what happens" May '10. July 12, we got a our BFP! We were so excited! I'm a Type 1 diabetic, so I was really strict with my diet and exercise to keep our little one healthy. We waited until after we saw the heartbeat to tell everyone our news. At our 9 wk. 5 day appt we saw our baby stopped growing at 6 wks. 6 days. The day AFTER we saw the healthy heartbeat. I had a d & e on August 27th. I waited 9 wks post d & e for AF, so Dr. prescribed Prometrium. After 10 days I had a one day AF which worried me. Luckily, 28 days after that AF came in all her 'normalcy'. We are back TTC and are trying to be laid back about it, but I have started charting to better understand my 'new' cycles (they have been much different than before). I am hoping and praying to get a Birthday BFP (my birthday is 12/28) but do not want to get my hopes up.

6. Your story- Took the "lets see what happens" approach for a year then my "clock" when into over drive and I began Charting and using OPK and after 2 months I got my BFP on Oct28th. DH insisted we they his parents that weekend so they would know first since they have waited 15 year to hear they would become grandparents, and we told my parents the following weekend to be fair which they told every family member by the next day, even thou my biggest fear was telling to soon. On Sunday Nov 6th I began mild spotting and it turned to full on bleeding Weds and Friday I passed everything. DH got to untell everyone he told and I told my mother to untell my family. I did not feel like discussing this or trying to give people answers I will never get myself.

7. Any questions you might have. I have just been lurking, so no questions yet.

I just wonder when I will stop feeling mad at myself for failing and my doctors office for not checking me when I first called worried. I am ready to try again when AF decides to show up.

Honeymoon Location - We were married in Maui, so we hung out there for a while longer and then went to Lanai.6. Your story- My first pregnancy ended during the 12th week. I started spotting - and pretty much knew on the drive to the ultrasound that something was wrong. I opted for a natural m/c, but ended up in the ER after I passed almost everything. So after all that pain and waiting, I ended up getting a D&C anyway. We are currently TTC, but it's a lot tougher (emotionally) than I anticipated. I'm still trying to make it through every day, every week.

I had a trouble free 1st pregnancy a year ago. Lost the second 2 months ago at 16 weeks. There was no heartbeat. Tests showed nothing wrong with him. Starting to try again.

The comments I hate: At least you have Charlie (my son). You can always try again.

4. We met when I was 16, but our first date was 12/26/97, so 13-yrs.

5. We didn't have one. I was in college & Dh had just started a new job.

6. I was diagnosed with PCOS by my OB/GYN July 2005, but she never told me. She said it wasn't pertinant since we weren't TTC. I found out I had PCOS in 2009. We started TTC 4/2009 & joined a PCOS Research study March 2010. Got our first BFP in July 2010. Missed m/c at a little over 8wks, ended with Cytotec. Got our second BFP in November 2010. M/C a couple of weeks ago. I just had the RPL panel run last Monday, so I hope to have the results sometime next week. We will probably start TTC again in February.

6. Your story- Started TTC 1/10 right off BCP, took some time for my cycles to regulate and got our first BFP in June. Everything was going really well and saw the beautiful little heart beat. The day before my NT scan at 12 weeks and 2 days I had a touch of brown and went in only to be told our baby stopped growing at 9 wks 1 day. Had 2 D&C's and waiting two cycles to try again. Got 2nd BFP 11/10 and started spotting several days later. Following betas led my Dr. to think it may be ectopic so I just had my 2nd Methotrexate injection yesterday.

7. Any questions you might have- Will I ever be a mom?? You guys can answer that right???

6. Your story- I had my first child in April 2008 with few complications. I ended up on bedrest for the last 2 months due to gestational hypertension, but otherwise the pregnancy was uneventful.

I found out I was PG with #2 in August this year and was completely surprised, as we were TTA at that time. On Fri. Oct 8, I was 12 weeks and started spotting. I knew something wasn't right and called the doc for an u/s. There was no HB and the baby was really small. We waited the weekend before doing anything more, and had another u/s that following Mon which confirmed what we already knew. The baby was measuring around 8-9 weeks.

I had a d/c on 10/13 which also happens to be the day my niece came into the world (happy for them, sad for me). My H has since told me he is not sure he even wants another child, so right now we are not activelyTTCAL. But, I am still hopeful that we will have another and don't plan on going back on BC for now.

That brings us to the present I suppose...

I also want to say that I am proud to be among such strong women, and thanks for letting me be part of this group.

6. Your story- We conceived on our honeymoon. I had a missed miscarriage of twins at 10 weeks. We later went on to conceive DDi who is now 17 months old. I am deliriously happy. We are TTC #2, but I just had a c/p last month. Both of us work full time. An AW moment: after I got the BFP last month, I got a tee shirt for DD ("big sister"). DH promised me she wouldn't grow out of it before she gets to wear it again.

Oh, and on another note: I am always, always shocked to see someone else with my name. :-)

I've been here 2 months, but I'm not a frequent poster...

6. Your story-My best friend married his best friend... we met at their engagement party. It took us a few years to figure out that we were right for each other, but its been wonderful ever since.

You meant TTC story... Was one of those girls who was "oops pregnant" at 18. Have a handsome 11 year old to show for it. Have an almost 3 year old girl with DH. Started trying again on our 4 year anniversary. BFP 8/2010 Natural MC 10/2010 @ 8 weeks.

7. Any questions you might have - The only questions I really have are the kind noone can answer (why did this happen? how long will it take to get pregnant again?)

Having a rough night as the test was negative this morning and I'm expect AF anytime now. This was our last month to still have kids 3 school years apart, and tomorrow is my 30th bday. I was really hoping to be pregnant.

5. Honeymoon Location - married and honeymooned in Las Vegas

6. Your story- DH and I decided to TTC near the end of January of 2010. I stopped BC in February. I didn't have a cycle, so the end of May I called by OBGYN and she gave me Provera and Clomid. We were lucky enough to get pregnant in June. At our first US mid July baby was measuring small but everything was there, US a week later to check progress we saw a HB of 120, a week later no HB, and a week after that MC confirmed to be happening. I opted for a D&C instead of natural. We were 9 week and the baby only measure 6w4d. I had a very light spotting cycle first week of October then nothing so the OB called me in Prometrium and Clomid the end of November (after 50 days I finally had a cycle of sorts). We are now just playing the waiting game..

7. Any questions you might have - Is there a big difference between having the VIP FF and the regular? Also, what do the points mean??

Your story- stopped taking BC the end of April. decided to try the "lets just see what happens" card for the month of May and June--nothing happened--so started charting and doing OPKs in July---got my first BFP end of July/beginning of August. Found out i had a missed MC on August 26th. DH and i waited to TTC for 2 months. last month was our first month trying again. currently in our second month trying and close to the 2WW.

6. Your story- Started trying immediately following wedding. I am in my later 30s, DH is 30, I have history of endometriosis & other gyne issues, plus I'm in that over 35 cetegory... so we made an appt in August to go to a fertility clinic. Had a + test the day before, so I was so relieved to cancel that appt! Had a lot of spotting & bleeding during our pregnancy. Had two very unpleasant ultrasounds where the tech (even @ 5 weeks) kept telling me all about miscarriages. Anyway, went in for our NT Scan at just about 13 weeks. There was no heartbeat where there had been one before. Found out two weeks ago that baby had trisomy 18. Awaiting bloodwork results to see if we carry it (small chance of that). Scheduled D&C on 10/27. AF last week - impatiently awaiting + OPK... that's me!

6. Your story- I have 2 DDs 9 and 5, We decided to try for #3 in March, since I've had problems concieving in the past we were shocked to find out we were PG in June. I was so happy to be PG, I went in for my 1st u/s at 13 wks only to find out my LO didn't have a HB and only measured 7 wks. We were devasted. I had a D & E 2 days later. We are now on are 3rd cycle TTC.
