I just went out to my car to get my phone and in the driver seat was a box that was delivered today. I don't know who delivered it (PO, UPS, FedEx) but I've been home all day and parked in my recliner right by the front door. We have a covered porch and no one knocked on the door today.
I really don't like that someone effed with my car.

Re: NBR: Is this common practice?
PO and FedEx knock on my door. UPS never knocks so I would say it was probably them, although putting it in your car is uber weird and little effed up IMO.
We've been getting several deliveries from UPS this week and they've just been leaving them at the door without knocking. I just see the truck drive away.
Exactly the opposite here. UPS always knocks and no one else does. Weird.
Very weird that it was in your car.
It's just in an Amazon box. Now I'm irritated because I texted H and he's not as outraged as I am. This is a big deal damnit! ; )
the label should have a tracking number on it AND say ups.com or fedex.com or usps.com
If the tracking number starts with 1Z then it's UPS.
True. I got 16 amazon boxes the other day and 12 of them were from UPS and 4 from FedEx.
Yeah I don't usually lock my car. I don't have fancy electronics or valuable out there and we don't live in a high crime area so it's never been a big deal. I may start now though. I mean nothing was messed with but I don't like that anyone was comfortable messing with my car.
That is super weird and a little creepy. I think I'd make a phone call about it. There's always a tracking number, so they'll know exactly which employee delivered it and went into your car.
It was probably UPS. I hate them. We have a buzzer and a high, locked fence. They NEVER buzz, they just chuck whatever box they have (even if it says fragile) over the fence onto the concrete.

I have never heard of a delivery person doing that and would be pissed!!!!!
My current irritation is that neither Fedex nor UPS knocks on my door if the package doesn't require a signature, they just leave it. Which is basically fine but it's the xmas season and we all know there are people out there that watch for delivery trucks to steal packages left on porches. I'm not always home but c'mon at least knock once to see if I am, even if they don't wait for my slow waddling self to answer the door at least then when I get to the door I'll see the package right away so it isn't sitting there.
