I am 20 weeks pregnant and the dr said hb was 148 and the baby is measuring at 13oz, we had them write down the gender, but probably not finding out... Of course we are curious and want to see if anyone can tell us what their HB was at 20 weeks and if they know the gender?
Re: 20 weeks and HB of 148 Boy or Girl any guesses?

ITA....
As of last Friday HB was 159 and I am having a girl.
That's a good, normal heartbeat for a 20 weeker and no indication whatsoever of sex.
FWIW, I was told "in the 140s" and we are having a girl.
This, but our heart rate was 147 at 19w3d and we're having a boy!

You can guess all you want. But if you really want to know ask the sonographer.
Honestly my grandmother thought I was having a girl the first time because the heartrate was in the 150's. This baby is in the 140's. I'm not even beginging to guess...because I know that come Jan. 6th I will know for sure. (And then I can start thinking about names...I've refused to think about it until then.)
My MARRIED Bio
The healthy range* that they generally look for is between 120 and 160. I've heard above 140 is a girl and below is a boy, while others have told me they have heard the opposite. What I gather? You'd might as well flip a coin.
My son's heart rate was always higher, while this baby is also a boy, and has been consistently lower.
*healthy range my doctor told me/I read in a book at some point

Things to avoid during pregnancy: Eye contact with cats. Cats will suck the burgeoning life right out of you, using their infamous feline mind-powers. Avert your eyes, and move along.
FACT: 1 in 10 people are said to be a carrier of Listeria. Therefore you should avoid all shopping malls, grocery stores and busy street corners for the duration of your pregnancy. Or microwave anyone you contact until steaming, just to be safe.
The HR has been in the 150's for the last two months. We're having a boy! Almost every old wives tale pointed to girl though
Our LO heartbeat has been ranging between 146-155 and they think it may be a girl. Go back in 4 weeks to confirm since legs were closed.
My guess..... you're having a......baby! Let us know if you peek....
