Help with Baby Names

So DH and I don't agree much on girl names.  Here are a few we have come up with but probably wont use (reason listed below).  We need a two syllable first name and it can't begin with an L.

Portia - love the name but more than half the people we have shared with have a negative opinion of 

Claire - again, love it but it doesn't go with our last name

Emma - has gotten too popular

Any names recommendations?

    What does your last name sound like / rhyme with.  That may help for suggestions.

    Well Portia is NMS, however if you love it use it! If I would have listened to all the naysayers, I don't think either of my girls would have their name.

    I thikn Portia Claire sounds really nice together.

    I don't like Portia but honestly its your choice not others so don't let them discourage you.

    As for claire...I love.

    Emma is too popular.
