I used Dr. Browns from the time my son was born until he weaned from them. He got used to the one type and wouldn't even take other types anyways. There really is no reason to keep changing bottles as your child ages. Just use them until he or she is done with bottles. Plus why spend more money! LOL
Ditto. We had he 4oz and the 8oz Dr. Brown's. If I had known better I would have just went with the 8oz ones and saved money since we used the 4oz for such a short time. We used them from birth to 12.5months. The only thing we changed was the nipple, started with preemie, then level 1 then 2.

Re: Dr.Brown's (or other) bottles not necessary as baby ages?
Me, too. They worked for us and I saw no reason to try any other type of bottle.
