Dr.Brown's (or other) bottles not necessary as baby ages?

Just wondering if you kept up with the special bottles as the baby ages?  Do you feel like you still need special bottles to reduce gas? TIA

  • I used the dr browns (breast feed most the time) until it was time for my dd to start using sippy cups full time.

  • I used Dr. Browns from the time my son was born until he weaned from them.  He got used to the one type and wouldn't even take other types anyways.  There really is no reason to keep changing bottles as your child ages.  Just use them until he or she is done with bottles.  Plus why spend more money!  LOL

  • Ditto. We had he 4oz and the 8oz Dr. Brown's. If I had known better I would have just went with the 8oz ones and saved money since we used the 4oz for such a short time. We used them from birth to 12.5months. The only thing we changed was the nipple, started with preemie, then level 1 then 2.

Me, too. They worked for us and I saw no reason to try any other type of bottle.
