Re: What kind for Detergent do you use?

  • I used Allen's, Bumgenius, the EFF detergent (borax, washing soda, and oxiclean),  and All Free and Clear. I am currently using Tide Original and I am really happy with it.

  • Our LO isn't here yet, but we switched over to Planet for house/baby/CD washing and did all the prep washing with it. We've been happy with it so far, and the cost wasn't too bad (we got it off Amazon).  If it turns out it won't work for us once we start doing dirty dipes then we'll probably switch over to Rockin Green since I've heard really good things about it too.

  • I use regular powdered tide.

There are so many variables that one thing will not work for everyone.  Your child's skin, the hardness or softness of your water, what temperature you wash your cds at, what type of washer you have, etc. all play into if the detergent will work.

My advice - stop stressing and just buy one.  :)  Just don't buy a year's supply of it.

  • We use Allen's and have had no problems so far.

  • We use All Free & Clear, because I'm cheap. LOL ;) It works great, though! I tried a sample of Rockin' Green, and honestly I could not tell any difference.
