POLL- do your parents still live in same house?

mine do not and it still makes me sad that they sold it!

    Yes. I think they'll be there until they die. I can imagine being very sad if they didn't live there anymore.

    We moved so much, I don't really have a childhood house. But they are still in the same one that I lived in from middle school on. They talk about moving every now and then... who knows?? : ))

    My parents live in the same house they have since I was 7.  I really like that my boys are going to grow up around the same area that I did.

    Meh, kind of.  They've used it as a weekend home for years.  But they'll move back in full time next year when my dad retires.

    No, once my little sis moved out they moved to the country on a lake. I love their new house and all the fun stuff we do there. Their old house was in the hood. I do miss it though, and the fact that they moved like 45 min away when they were like 20.

    The same house as I grew up in? No.  They sold that house and upgraded to their "forever" home when I was 18.

    At first I thought you meant same house as each other.  Either way, no.  They dont live together and neither lives in my childhood home.

    No, but we bought it from them and I'll make the 4th generation to live here (My grandfather built it in 1940 for my great grandmother and owned it after she died) so we are going to start refurbushing spring 2011.

    we were a military family so we never stayed in a house longer than a few years.

    Yes they do.

    They've lived in the same house since I was three years old. I even got married in the backyard.

    Nope, we moved across the country three times when I was a kid.  I don't miss any of the houses though.  I guess because I've been out of my parents' current house for the last 7 years I don't really have a strong emotional attachment to it anymore.

    nope. But they still own it. My brother lived there alone for a few years but he just moved so it sits empty.

    I had lived in 7 houses by the time I graduated high school.  But they are still in the one we moved to in Grade 10.
