BFN after BFP?

I did 3 ic hpt's on Saturday  (including one at the walk-in doctor) which all showed faint positives. Yesterday I did  a FRER and it was darker and still positive. I was at the dollar store today so I threw a PG test into my bag and it was a bfn. Part of me is just dismissing it as a false negative but part of me wants to go buy another test just to make sure. I do have a doctor's appointment on Thursday to verify my pregnancy.

Has anyone else had this happen?

    No, but I would stop with the lined tests and get a digital!  When I took my test, the line was definitely there, but I wanted a digital, so it could spell it out and it read "pregnant."

    Yes, actually, but only early in my pregnancy. I tested at home with FMU on the Friday I got my BFP with an IC (very faint line) and a digital (pregnant). The next day at work I tested with FMU on 2 tests that we have there & both were BFNs. I think the sensitivity of the tests at my work must be crap because the next morning I tested with one of my ICs again & another digital both BFPs. I wouldn't worry about it too much, although I know it can be difficult. If it makes you feel better, I say test again tomorrow with FMU just to be sure. Those dollar store tests can be iffy anyways. GL!

    As hard as it is, I would wait a day and then test again. Depending on what you've drank/time of day, when you're really early, your HCG doesn't show as good in your urine!!

    Thanks ladies! While I do think it is a fluke I think I will retest sometime soon. I just don't want to waste money on tests. Stick out tongue

    I did pull the test out of the garbage just to recheck it and there was a second line but it could be an evap line. 

    I am only about 16 DPO and my last cycle (which was oddly long) was 35 days so my levels could just not be high enough yet.

    Make sure you are testing with your first morning urine. if you test later in the day as early as you are then you might get a BFN. GOOD LUCK
