She has woken up with a leaky diaper every morning for the past 4 days. And off and on before then for the past couple of weeks. She wears Huggies overnights in size 6, which is one size up from her daytime size. The only surefire prevention is to double up her diapers at night, and then she seems to have a hard time going to sleep. Probably bc she is uncomfortable.
She does get a nighttime sippy of milk before bed, but she usually only drinks a few sips. I don't understand what has changed.
Any ideas on what i should do? She sleeps from 7:30 straight through to 7 am just about every night. Waking her up to change her causes her to have a hard time going back to sleep. And, then she cries for a while. Not an option.
Re: PLEASE help-leaky diapers at night
Thats tough if you already use overnight diapers in a size up ... I guess if it were me, I'd try a new brand of overnights. Pampers maybe?
I don't really have any suggestions other than what you've already tried.
We went through the same thing and ended up going up a size and changing brands (from Pampers to Huggies.)
The only other thing is to limit fluids at least two hours before bedtime. Now, LO seems to self-regulate that kind of thing but for a few months she would chug water before bed and that seemed to make it worse.
Of course during the day, she would always have access to her sippy and could drink as much as she wanted.

DD is in a 5 during the day and a 6 overnight Huggies at night. I fold the top of the overnight diaper in so that it fits better. I find that if I don't, the absorbent part pushes out and then her clothes get wet.
Maybe try rubber pants over the diaper if that doesn't work? The kind that go over training pants/cloth diapers.

These are the best. I get a pack of 30 for $3 at BRU. I use the same diaper for day and night and we've maybe had 1 or 2 leaks in the 10 months or so that we have been using them.
