I have been bleeding/spotting on and off since Friday. I had an u/s today and baby looks fine. We have a heart beat starting!!!!! However, they found 2 bleeding areas with the u/s.
They assured me that it was common and that the hope is that it will clear up on its own.
I am scared ![]()
I went to a different office today than I normally go to - and they were kind of rude and cold. I tried asking a bunch of questions and they really did not give me any answers.
I am trying to stay positive but I am really scared.

I had/have the same thing. They found mine at 8 weeks but suspected it at 7 weeks when I started bleeding BRIGHT red. I thought for sure it was over, but when we went in for an u/s eveything with the baby was fine. I spotted from week 7 up until week 13. I laso had another major bleeding episode at 11 weeks. When they did the u/s they found that my 1 subchoronic u/s had decided to split into 2 small ones. One was 1 cm and one was 2 cm. I have had weekly ultrasounds to see what is happening and it seems like they have both gotten really small, to the point where it is not worth mentioning anymore. My OB said that they either bleed themselves out S L O W L Y or reabsorb themselves.
I know how scary it is, but try to relax and know that the blood is coming from the clot and not the baby.
Hmm... they did not say anything about a subchorionic hematoma. This is the first I have heard that term. They just called it a "bleed".
I wonder...
Hi Tracy!
I sure hope everything is ok! You have a h/b - what a gorgeous sight....I have to wait another week and it is TORTURE! Every second creeps by.....
