I will be 17 weeks on Tuesday and have not yet felt the baby. I had an ultrasound on Wednesday so I know everything is ok, but I am wondering when I will feel something. Anyone not feel anything yet?
I felt the baby for the first time 16w5d and I had to lay REALLY still on my back to recognize it. I won't notice it if I'm walking around or doing a physical activity. I even had to provoke the little booger into kicking me so I would know exactly what I was looking to feel.
It is still REALLY faint, and I completely understand when people say first time moms can mistake it for gas - but it's more of a light thump and I only get it once or twice a day. Good luck!
My OB told me it is totally normal for first time moms to not show until 18-20 weeks and to not start feeling baby until 20-24 weeks. I am 17w and have felt some things that may be LO, but I'm not really worrying about it or focusing on it. I'm sure when it starts really happening, I'll know it when I feel it.
It also depends on if you have an anterior placenta, or are overweight/have extra weight around the middle. There are a lot of factors, don't worry about it.
I have had some feelings that I think just may possibly be baby, but I am not positive. I can't wait for it to be obviously baby, but until then I will continue to do my best at being patient!

I've felt movement for a few wks now - WAY more so this past week. My only advice is to really just not worry - it's soooooo so unique to each women/pregnancy when movement becomes noticeable and consistent.
I am only 15 weeks, but my Ultrasound Tech told me that my placenta is in the front, and that I should not expect to feel anything for a while. She said I might not feel anything until 22 weeks or so. Kinda bummed me out, but as long as docs say the baby is healthy, I am not going to worry. Maybe your placenta is in the front too???
my doc said first timers probably won't feel anything until 19-24 weeks. people who have already carried can feel it earlier. so i'm just waiting and enjoyed watching him move all around during our last ultrasound.
I am just one day ahead of you - I'll be 17 weeks tomorrow. I for SURE felt movement on Thursday night when I was laying in bed. I thought I felt it yesterday, too, but I was standing up and it didn't seem quite as strong as Thursday so I could be wrong on that one. I'm excited for it to happen more regularly soon!

I have not felt the baby yet. I do know I have an anterior placenta (or at least I did at 9 weeks.) Recently I have been feeling weird bubbles, but I also was super gassy at the time, so it most likely was that.
I am hoping to feel something soon because I would like to have that reassurance that baby is doing okay in there.
I haven't yet. I felt DD around 17/18 weeks FOR SURE (where you could see little bumps on the outside when she kicked when I was lying down). My OB said not to worry. He said I should most definitely feel mvmt by 20 weeks. But I may have an anterior placenta (during my NT scan they said it looked like it was going to be an anterior and so I may not get to feel much for awhile). I am paranoid about it. I was even poking my belly last night to try to feel something. I went to the OB for my 16 week appt on Wednesday and the HB was great so I shouldn't be worried about it. I get so neurotic with pregnancy!!
I have thought a few times that I've felt baby, but I'm not certain. And this is #2 for me, which everyone says you feel earlier. I think it's totally, 100% normal and fine. But when you DO feel it it will be heaven!

I am 17w4d pg and I have not felt any movement yet. I have an anterior placenta so my MW said it might take me longer to feel movement. I am not worried since I just heard the HB again at my appointment and the MW said that everything sounded great.

I am 18 weeks and haven't felt baby yet. My doctor said that is .perfectly normal. I could see baby move a lot on my ultrasound, but never felt it during.
I'm 16w3d and have felt like i'm beign poked in teh belly from the inside for a few days. i hope it's the baby... my doc told me the first movements would feel like bubbles or tickling...
I felt some flutters by the end of 15 weeks... I know it's incredibly early, but my sister has had two and she told me what to look for. I had to concentrate very hard and it was maybe like once, but I sure did feel a few flutters. Now I feel them a few times a week~ I now can decipher between digestive movement and the baby. Usually I feel the baby if I am sitting up very straight for a while or if I am laying down on my back or side.
Good luck, every baby is different! I am sure you will feel your sweet little one before long!
If this is our first you'd be lucky to feel it by now. I did't feel it with my first until around 20 weeks. This is my second and I think I may have felt it once or twice but I'm not sure. Still waiting for the most part.

ETA: I think we are due date buddies!! : )
I think I might have felt the baby 2 or 3 times in the last week, but it was so faint and quick that I am not 100% sure.
I like to think it was though. Just trying to be patient and appreciate each day. (SO hard to do!!!)
