Pregnant after a Loss

Cautiously (and nervously) dipping a toe in... (intro)

Hi All,

My name Anne and and I'm a school psychologist.  DH and I have been married for 4 years and we started trying for a family this past summer.  We were surpsised and excited to get pregnant so quickly, but unfortunately I lost my first pregnancy at 8 weeks at the end of August.

The wonderful ladies on the MCPL and TTCAL boards helped me to grieve and understand the ins and outs of what was going on and I'm sure they helped me to feel ready to jump back into the TTC game as soon as we were given the okay.  We feel so fortunate to get a positive now.  However, I did not expect it this cycle at all and that is making me more nervous.  I ovulated on day 8 and didn't think pregnancy would even be a possibility.  Yet, here we are!

But I'm trying to focus on the positive and use the great phrase I've heard a few of you use as my mantra.  "Today I am pregnant and I love my baby."

Here's hoping for a H&H 9 months to us all!
