baby cries when i take out bottle to burp him

just wondering what this could be... i need to burp him quite often in order to make sure he doesnt have gas bubbles cause of his reflux.... What can i do? should i just let him finish and let me know even if it means not letting go of it until the end?   im trying to make it more bareable for him... he has reflux and spits up alot... im only giving him BM for the most part.... he drinks about 3 ozs ... any thoughts ??? I NEED HELP!!!!!!!

    idk about yours because my LO doesn't have reflux, but he lets me know when he needs to burp by pulling off. If I try to burp him prematurely, he gets frustrated and cries and I can't get a burp out of him anyway, so I just wait for his cues.

    When DD was that age, she did that too.  She was greedy and didn't want to stop.  She got used to it and grew out of that!

    My DD will pull off the first breast and will be asleep for a minute and will start fussing after a little bit especially when I get to burping her. She is just really impatient when it comes to food so when she realizes she is hungry she starts screaming (but at least when she isn't sick it's the only time she screams). I think he is just communicating to you that he wants more food. That seems to be at least what my DD is saying at that point.

    Maybe try to let him stop on his own. If he pukes every where, then you know you will need to stop him to burp him. Give him a paci (if you're using one). That helps my LO.

    This. We have to burp often because of bad reflux too. Eventually I think he was old enough to realize he would get the bottle bad soon but needed to take a break. hang in there.
