I am losing my patience today..

I don't know if it's hormones, or just not having patience today but my DD (who is 19 mos) is SO NAUGHTY today. She woke up at 5 (which is unlike her and wouldn't go back to sleep, I brought her in bed with me after DH left for work and she snuck out of bed and found Clorox Wipes on DH's desk and got into those! (How, I have no idea, I caught her putting one in her mouth JUST in time, but I still called Poison Control and she is OK) and we put up our tree last night and will not leave it alone! I am about to rip out my hair and it's only 10:15!! And my stomach hurts now because I had to dive across the bed to get to her to get the wipes from her. Ok, pity party over. I need a nap. Please tell me others with toddlers have days like this!!

Hang in there. Not a mom yet, but I'm sure all of us will have days like that eventually. The good thing is that it will eventually end and then you have a whole new tomorrow to look forward to. (I'm positivie now... but ask me in a couple of years and maybe I'll be less gleeful.)

I know. I hate being upset with her, she is little and is supposed to get into everything. I am just cranky and tired and now a little sore/uncomfortable. Tomorrow is Saturday and Daddy will be home! lol.

I don't have kids yet, but I giggled reading your post all I can see is this cute little girl running around causing havoc. I have lots of nieces and nephews and know how mischevious they get! I hope you have a better day and I hope DH gives you a rest tomorrow so YOU can rest!!!

I don't have kids yet either... but I am a Kindergarten teacher and I have ZERO patience for them this week... I feel like a cranky old teacher... I hope this passes soon.
