Poll- When did AF return after your D&C?

I have read some posts on here that 8 weeks seems to be the limit and then to call your care provider.  I am just a little past 5 weeks post D&C and have a follow-up appointment today (so of coure I will ask) but I just wanted to see what others have experienced.  I just want to start my next IVF cycle ASAP and I'm going a little nuts over here.

    Hi,

    It took 6 weeks for mine to come back. I was starting to get worried, but I always had longer than normal cycles anyway. Hang in there, it will come soon!

    Mine came four weeks after D&C, then I had continued spotting. Then two weeks after the first one I had another AF, with spotting after it too. I just had AF number three and it is finally right on time, and normal. So although Ive had three AF since my miscarriage this is the first normal one for me. Its been two months and two weeks. One more normal cycle then I can ttc again. I hope that yours waiting a while longer means your first one will be counted as normal, and you wont have continuous bleeding for three and a half weeks like I did. Best of luck!!

    Mine came 4 weeks and 3 days post-D&C.  I had really light spotting for nearly 2 weeks after the procedure, so I was surprised it came essentially "on-time."

    We had actually taken a HPT the day prior (which was suuuuuper faint but not 100% neg), so I was surprised that my HCG level must have been low enough to get a cycle the next day.  Then I was worried it would be like a day of bleeding or 10 days and just be completely abnormal, luckily so far it seems just like a regular cycle.  But yeah, up to 6-8 weeks is not outside the realm of normal.  Hope yours comes soon so you can get to trying again.  Good luck!
