Pregnant after a Loss

I really hate being deaf sometimes

I have small laser lights plugged in my oultets all over the house.  I have two sensors, one for the doorbell and the other one is a baby cry sensor.  The lights mimics the baby's cries.  Well... right now, my lights are going off.  Baby is sleeping in the swing and no one is at my door.  My cat is totally freaked out right now.  My heart was pounding but I had to search the house and I found nothing.  I never had my lights go off for any unknown reasons before and I can't figure this out.

I don't know whether to unplug my lights, laugh or cry!  I am putting on a brave face for DS.  It just bothers me that I can't figure out where the sounds is coming from if that is the case.  Yes, I did check the soundspa and any musical toys in DS's room and they are all off.

Re: I really hate being deaf sometimes

  • I suggest a good cry, followed by hysterical laughing.  ((((HUGS)))))  I hope you figure it out.  Until then, I would take a break for a minute.

  • How frustrating!  Are they still going off?  Maybe you can call someone and hold out the receiver to see if they can hear something to put your mind at ease?

  • Ugg, that would be so frustrating. I have a cat, and when ever she goes crazy, or sits straight up and stares, I swear she heard something that I didn't pick up.

it's scarey, but has always turned out to be nothing!
