I ordered all of my bedding and accessories from Albee Baby. This was done over five weeks ago and I have yet to receive anything. Of course they charged my credit card in full. I received an email three weeks ago stating the bedding was on back order but none of my other items have come.
I have tried to call three times to check the status on my other items and only get voice mails with no return call. I did email and heard a response back stating that the bedding was still on back order and they hope to have it to me by Christmas and all the other items are "specialty items" and take a bit longer to ship. I am only worried since they charged me in full and I have yet to get anything.
Has anyone else used this website? Is this typical and I am just having a panic attack? Thanks ladies ![]()

I just ordered from Albee Baby on Monday and my order was processed immediately, I got a confirmation email with an internal tracking #. I just got a new email yesterday (Wednesday) letting me know that my items were shipped and they gave me the tracking # for UPS. UPS has let me know that my package will arrive tomorrow (Friday).
I would trust that they are going to send the items when they arrive, they just don't have them. You should be able to see where the items are from the site's tracking number they provided in their original confirmation email to you. You can click on the status of each item and it should tell you where the items are in the process. My items were all in "warehouse" I am assuming yours probably says "Backordered"
I would check the website and monitor the status of your items. Typically companies have 60 days to either give you the merchandise or return your money.
I've ordered from them a few times. When we ordered our crib mattress, it took them a little while to ship it (not 5 weeks, but it was still longer than expected)--and when I posted on here asking the same type of question as you are now, someone posted that they bought the same exact mattress only a few days before my post, and it had already shipped for her.
So I called Albee Baby asking them WTH was going on, and they essentially were all, "Whoops!" and promised to ship it the next day. They did, and I got it within a day or two. Seems like it's possible for orders to kind of get "forgotten" in their system.

I just placed an order with them the other day, and I already got shipping confirmation with a tracking number.
FYI, it is illegal for them to charge your credit card before it ships. So if they have already charged your card, I would contact them and say you want to cancel the order and get a refund. If they won't agree, then I would dispute the charge with your credit card company.
Try calling this number?212-662-8902.?It's for their NYC store location. I've had better luck calling that number and they've been very helpful. I hope you're able to get some answer, I've never had a problem with them before
