Trying to Get Pregnant

temp advice, possible triphasic chart

I posted yesterday morning about this exact same thing!!

4:30-97.74  (this temps is on on my chart)

Back to sleep without really fully waking up

(normal time) 5:30-98.31

Going by my 5:30 temps for the past two days, I am moving in to a triphasic chart (yesterday was 98.28 at 5:30). As opposed to 98.09 @ 4:30.  What do y'all think?

I tested this morning at 8dpo, obviously it was a bfn...

Re: temp advice, possible triphasic chart

  • Triphasic chart do not always = BFP.   Individual temps after O are not that important.  I would use the first temp after waking up.

    TTC#1 for 19 months with PCOS and MFI IUI#3 + injectables = BFP!!!!  Beta#1-134(13dpiui) Beta #2-392(15dpiui)
    #1 born December 2011
    TTC#2 - Beta #1 -51@10dpo Beta#2 -1353 @16dpo
    #2 born May 2013
    TTC # 3 June 2014 BFP 12-1-14
    #3 born August 2015
    #4!!!!!!! due June 2017

  • I always use the first temp.

I don't know a lot about triphasic, but I know my chart when I got pregnant with Lily I had a dip at 8 DPO and then my chart eventually went triphasic later- after I got my BFP at 9 DPO.

Also, I am pretty sure triphasic does not always = BFP.

I know it is hard, but you are just going to have to wait and see.

  • While I would love to see a BFP from you in the next few days, I think you need to stop temping twice in the morning. The first one is more accurate as you have gotten 3 hours of solid rest. Your body will be warmer the second time because it has already woken up. Also, while a triphasic chart can be a good sign for pregnancy, you can also have a triphasic chart and not be pregnant.
  • Thanks ladies, I had a feeling that was the case.  I hope my temps go back up and not down....

    Waiting is SO hard!!!
