Weird heartbeat..??

This is going to sound so weird, I'm sure.

For the past few weeks, at random times, I can feel what seems like a heartbeat in my butt/vagina area. It doesn't match my heartbeat and it doesn't seem fast enough to be the baby's.. but I don't know? It's seriously the weirdest feeling! Has anyone else felt this??

...it's quite possible that I'm just crazy. :D

  • I can feel mine down below my belly button but above my pelvis really strong...  I don't know if it's normal but it's definately mine not LOs.

  • Does it seem to happen more often if you're sitting in the same position for too long?  Maybe it's your pulse?

  • The only time I've noticed it is when I took a bubble bath and got out, have been sitting in class, and laying in bed...? So yeah.. I've always been sitting for a while.

  • sometimes when the baby is kicking down there it feels pulse-like.. to me anyway. Everything is so smushed together in there I can't tell what's what anymore.

  • My baby's kicks are very fluttery and sometimes feel like a rapid pulse...or maybe it' the placenta?

  • I hear mine in my belly when I try to find Landon's with a stethoscope.

Your LO may be pressing on a pressure point?

I second this. Sometimes the baby feels fluttery down very low (in my vag or maybe a little farther back). Otherwise, the only strong pulse I feel is in my stomach/baby bump.

  • You never know... I can often feel my pulse in random spots... quite often in my butt (LOL!!!), feet, hands etc... It's happened for as long as I can remember, certainly longer than I've been KU... so I know these are mine... not sure what you are feeling...I'd ask your dr or m/w next time you're in!!
