  Catherine - lovely. I adore the NN Cate.

  Mary Katherine - Catholic (which works great if you are!), and will forever remind me of SNL.

  Mary Grace - Lovely. I really like both names.

  (Are you considering the above two as double first names or FN/MN?)

  Abigail - Eh. NMS. I despise the NN Abby, too. Gail is cute, though.

  We're not Catholic, but do live in the south where double names are a tradition. Do you think Mary Grace and Mary Katherine both sound too catholic?

  Love, love, love Catherine, Abigail and Caroline. Mary Katherine and Mary Grace are nice, but I like the other 3 more.

  Catherine is my name, so I'm pretty biased towards that

  I like Mary Katherine, but it's somewhere between "Sister Mary Katherine" and "Olsen twin"

  I like Mary Grace as a first middle combo, but not as a double first.

  Not crazy about Abigail.

  I love Caroline.
