How often do you change?
I know cd's need to be changed more often than disposables, but how often do you change yours?
My baby pees every half hour. I am getting worn out on changing, mainly at night time. I hate to wake him when he is able to sleep for 4+ hours. I've left him to sleep, but then he soaks everything, and turns his skin red.

What type of diapers are you using? If they are without a stay dry liner-have you tried fleece liners? My DD wears a fitted overnight with a fleece liner to keep her feeling dry.
Oh and we change probably every hour-two hours.
During the day every 2 hours or so. At night he's going anywhere from 10-12 hours without a change.

I tried a set of home made that my cousin made/gave me, but he got a wicked diaper rash even changing every 2ish hours.
Then I tried two Kissaluvs 0 in a row and he was turning crazy bright red everywhere it touched him so I quit those right away. (I think those might have been too small)
I have a pre-fold and a thirsties cover on him right now, and he needs to be changed after 30 minutes again, but he's sleeping.
Is it possible he's having a reaction to your detergent? If you've ruled that out, try a fleece liner like pp said. Non of the diapers you've used are stay dry so the constant wettness against his skin could be the problem. We liked the BG XS AIO's the best because they kept him dry.

I wondered about the detergent, but it's the EFF mix. I've washed all his clothes in it, and not had any problems anywhere else on his skin.
I think I will make some fleece liners next. I can use fleece from a pair of my pj pants, right?

We change her about every 2 hours during the day (sooner if I notice she's very wet or she has pooped), and at night we go 10-12 hours without a change. I just use extra inserts with the night diapers and its no big deal. I would never wake a sleeping baby for a diaper change! eek!
I agree with PP - it could be a detergent issue or a wetness issue. Just because your LO hasn't had a reaction to the detergent used on his clothes, doesn't mean it won't bother his tush. Its very different. I would try a different detergent just to rule that out if you haven't already, and I would also use some fleece liners to keep the baby feeling more dry.
Every 3 hours unless I smell poop.
Overnight I stuff the heck out of a pocket and put her to bed. She goes 12 hours just fine.
It sounds like you might need to adjust your absorbency level.
