Dh said the absolutely wrong thing to me tonight. He really hurt my feelings.
I was changing and he said ... "wow, looks like you really gained some weight over thanksgiving"

Did DH have a momentary lapse of complete sanity? Because if mine said that to me... he'd be sleeping on the couch. I don't think I'd ever let him live that down.
You know, if you had gained a lot of weight suddenly and he was concerned, there's a nice way to approach that, but his comment seemed completely unnecessary!

Doesn't matter how much we all grow up, sometimes boys are still just stupid. I hope you told him how you felt, hun. My DH has screwed up in saying stuff like that before, and I've found that if I don't say anything he's totally oblivious but very apologetic if I speak up.
