As you all know, w start our Lupron shots tomorrow and I've been freaking out about it for the past couple of days. When I got home from work today I had a surprise "care package" from my best friend. She's so awesome!!
It included:
M&Ms - "for a chocolate fix"
Foot fizz - "if you have to be on bedrest at least you can soak your feet"
Have faith magnet - no comment necessary
Mango margarita lip gloss - "since you can't drink"
Stress ball - "for when you need to 'relax' - haha"
Crossword puzzle book - "to combat bedrest boredom"
Sugar babies candy - " 'sticky babies" - get it?"

Jen - the bed rest is just for the day of the transfer and the day after. (Really they said just 24 hours after would be enough, but that puts me halfway through that next day, so why not stay in bed for the entire thing?)
I'm not on bedrest after the retrieval but they did say that I'll probably want to sleep in a recliner that night, or in somewhat of a sitting up position. Apparently it will help with the pain?
aww You are so lucky to have such a caring friend!! (I'm sure she feels the same way about you!)
I'm thinking of you Laura!
How sweet of your friend...hope everything goes well:)
Amy
That is awesome - both in thought and in the actual ideas!
I am really pulling hard for you. I so want this to work for you and Jason.
I have a friend pg with twins after doing IVF right now. Her first round of drugs, she didn't produce any follies/eggs. Second round did the trick. She said the ER and ET were not bad at all.
I think the sitting up has to do with relieving pressure pain from the swelling/bloating.
So so sweet!! The prayers and thoughts of friends are what got me through too! (thank you again!!)
