Yep, it's a totally awful-sounding name that any English-speaking person would hate to be stuck with, but it has the prettiest meaning! "My delight is in her." I think that's so sweet.
Too bad the sound/appearance of the name can't match the meaning.

Such a shame! That is such a sweet meaning.

Beta #1-120, Beta #2-590 EDD: 12/7/2011 HB: 109 BPM on 4/15 HB: 167 BPM on 5/13! 7/18 IT'S A BOY!
"For this child I prayed; and the Lord hath given me the petition which I asked of him." 1 Samuel 1:27
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." Jeremiah 1:5
I kind of like the idea of a LO's name combining the meaning of my name & DH's. I am not pro-war, but that would leave us with something like "graceful one from the battlefield."
I should have paid more attention to meanings. DD's name, Matilda, means mighty in battle. And as she becomes a toddler, it is obvious that she is just this.

That is too funny!

This is one of the reasons I actually really like the name Matilda. DH's name means "from the battlefield," so I think it would be kind of cool to have another battle name in the family. If only the name were spelled the same in Spanish and English instead of only being pronounced the same. Sigh.
Evren was a boy name I liked quite a bit, both sound and meaning(DH said maybe as a MN, but I didn't like the 2-2-2 syllable count we'd end up with). It means "universe" or "cosmos."
Ariadne is another nice one, meaning "most holy"--though for that the mythical and astronomical(the original bearer is associated with the constellation Corona Borealis) connotations would weigh heavier than the meaning. I've seriously considered this and variants thereof (like Ariana)--but DH and I agreed before we got married to not duplicating first initials. Poo.
Re: meanings game
Totally on the meaning?
Hephzibah.

I know! It totally bums me out.
DD and this one are named with names that mean something.
Valeska Victoria-Desea = A warrior's wish to be a glorious leader
Dacian Marek = Warlike Wolf (a homage to DH's Apache heritage)
That is too funny!
