How you revealed BFP to your significant other Tested early in the morning and immediately told him that I just got two faint positives, nothing too exciting
Have you announced to any other family or friends I told two of my good girlfriends who knew we were TTC on the day I got the BFP. We're waiting until Christmas to come out to family. My mom and sister are going to kill me when they find out I knew I was PG at Thanksgiving and didn't say anything.
1.) I'm due August 7th
2.) My first appointment/first ultrasound are scheduled for Jan 3rd at 9wks.
3.) I asked my son to show the digital to DH. DH was asleep and DS walked in and said "Baby, Daddy! Baby!" DH woke up and read the digital and said "I knew it!" : )
4.) I told my two good friends, and that was it.

no appts scheduled yet waiting for more b/w or to talk to Dr.

Only my mom knows since we m/c in June and I spotted some already with this one I needed to talk to somebody... and mom was it.

4. We announced it to family on Thanksgiving. I changed Claire into a big sis shirt I had made, and it took about 10 minutes for everyone to notice!

How you revealed BFP to your significant other I ran back into the bedroom and stuck the digi in his face and said "you need to wake up for this" and he said "just tell me so I don't have to open my eyes" and I told him he HAD to open them! So then he jumped up and got all excited

How you revealed BFP to your significant other-this is our first so I did the test, we waited together and DH looked first.
Have you announced to any other family or friends-DH told one of his brothers, he's only home from the Airforce until mid-December so he HAD to tell him. I think we are telling everyone else at Christmas.

3. I had clever ideas but DH was on a plane on his way back and I was in disbelief so as soon as he walked in the door I showed him the tests.
4. My sis knows so she could cover me over T-giving and my BFF knows b/c I was freaking out when I got the BFPs and I had to call SOMEONE. We're going to tell our immediate families on Dec 11 after the u/s.

How you revealed BFP to your significant other Bought a Steelers hat/bib/booties set, a card and dropped the digital in a gift bag. Gave it to him when he got home from work
Have you announced to any other family or friends Just my mom, sister and SIL. We're waiting til Christmas to tell the rest of the family.

First appt with OB/GYN: Dec 15 (though I'm seeing my primary-care doc tomorrow)
Woke DH up at 3:30 in the morning to show him the BFP.
We told both sets of parents this weekend and plan to share with the rest of the family at Christmas (will probably tell a couple close mommy friends next time I see them b/c I'm just way too excited to keep it in!)

How you revealed BFP to your significant other I left the two tests on the bathroom counter and crawled back into bed, waiting for his alarm to go off. I think he was in shock b/c I heard him rooting around in the cabinet to see if he could find the box w/ the instructions to make sure he was reading it right. I asked him "You weren't sure if you read the word 'pregnant' right?!" Ha.
Have you announced to any other family or friends My one co-worker knows only b/c I was having to make phone calls to my dr office and her daugther is due at the same time as me and she shared with me Monday morning, so I shared with her. She's like a mom to me and it's nice to have someone know but not everyone else. We'll tell my family on Christmas Day and maybe one or two close friends, and we'll wait til 12 weeks for everyone else.

How you revealed BFP to your significant other: I took the test when I woke up and brought it downstairs and handed it to him at the breakfast table.
Have you announced to any other family or friends: One of my close friends, my mother and 2 co-workers (I travel a lot for work so I feel better having a couple people know)
EDD - August 3 (based on chart)
Upcoming apptmts - none yet other than my second set of betas tomorrow. I figure we'll schedule an appointment once those come back.
BFP reveal - I asked him if he was awake yet enough to help me read the pee stick. He admitted that he'd already read the dreaded blue line test (last non-digi I had left) in the bathroom and wasn't sure what it said. I handed him the digital one and he was excited.
Announcements to family and friends - None yet, though I have a good girlfriend coming tonight to stay with us for the night and I highly doubt I'll be able to keep it a secret. She was the first to know last time as well (she guessed). We plan to tell the family at Christmas, assuming we get to see a heartbeat before then.
Aug 2nd according to my EDD. I won't deliver then. I was a week late for DD and fully expect that to happen again.

First appt.: Dec. 22nd
I took a test as soon as I woke up. I wanted to do something cute to tell DH, but I was just too excited! He was still asleep, so I went and sat next to him on the bed and put the test in front of his face. Then I asked him to open his eyes! He slowly opened them, and I could see him trying to figure out what the heck was in his face! Haha. He finally realized what it was, and sat up so excited, and said "You're pregnant?!" I just started crying- he was very happy too!
We have only told my parents, my brother, and sister. We are waiting until Christmas (if we can make it that long without spilling!) to tell the rest of our families. I suppose we'll tell our friends around that time, or a little after.

Me: Stage II endo, borderline high FSH
DH: perfect
1 lap, 5 IUIs = 4 BFNs and 1 c/p
2 IVFs, 2 FETs = 1 BFN, 1 c/p, 1 ectopic and finally a sticky BFP in May 2011!
1 FET in Aug 2013 = BFP!

Upcoming appointments scheduled: Have my first pre-natal class at the base hospital next tuesday 12/07/10. The military does things different I guess...after a verified pg. test we have to go to a 2 hour nutrition class and then we can make an appointment.
How you revealed BFP to your significant other: I told my husband for his birthday present last night. I bought a couple of cheap baby bottles (one purple and one blue), a binkie, travel size baby power and baby lotion and gave them all to him in a gift bag. I figured he wouldn't understand right away so I also gave him his b-day card that said "we have BIG plans at the begining of Aug 2011 so make sure you get time off work Daddy." I also included a picture of two digital pregnancy tests just so he understood it. He was so happy! It was the best b-day present I could give him.
Have you announced to any other family or friends: Well I wanted to wait and tell everyone at christmas (thinking of a great christmas present for our parents). But he couldn't wait so he called and told his parents and our closest friends. Then we drove to my parents (2 mintues away) and showed them what his b-day present and card were.

No appointments scheduled yet. I'm between OB/MWs after our loss in July. Hopefully something in December.
I told DH last night by telling him I had found something cute for next football season (a onesie in his favorite team's colors). He glanced at it quick and thought it was a shirt for the dogs and replied "AAagggh!" (he hates that I dress them up in things). Then he said "Wait, that's not a dog shirt!" and got all excited with me
We told his parents last night and will tell mine tonight. They were the only people who knew about out loss this summer and are still the only ones we'd want to know early on. We might tell siblings and grandmas at Christmas.

Upcoming appointments scheduled: Another HCG/progesterone test tomorrow, had one yesterday as well. I am seeing an RE for the first 12 weeks, so I have a lot more appointments than a person who is seeing a regular ob/gyn. I'll be seeing him weekly, until week 12, then switch to my regular doctor.
How you revealed BFP to your significant other:We were actually rushing to get to the airport for our trip, but I felt off that morning so I took a test. It was positive and I just showed him, didn't have time to do it any other way!
Have you announced to any other family or friends: Just my mom!

How you revealed BFP to your significant other: Tied two pacifiers to our dog's collar (he proposed by tying my engagement ring to our dog's collar) -- he didn't believe me!! (much like I didn't believe him!)
Have you announced to any other family or friends: Told our parents on Thanksgiving (they knew we were IVF, and our timing). Told our 3 closest couple friends (also knew we were IVF, and a ballpark of our timing), but other than that, the lips are zipped until the end of January!

How you revealed BFP to your significant other: I had my 2 year old DD "write" a letter to him telling she was so excited because she was going to be a big sister.

Have you announced to any other family or friends - Both sets of parents and his sister know. We are waiting to tell the rest of our families and friends until around 12 weeks.

How you revealed BFP to your significant other: We were playing with DD and I asked her if she wanted to be a big sister. She said "no no". I laughed and told DH that she didn't have much of a choice and told him I got a positive test.
Have you announced to any other family or friends: I've told my BFF and my SIL. Both knew it was a possiblity. But, we will wait until Christmas to tell my mom and sister, granted that we have the first u/s before then. We'll wait until second trimester to tell everyone else. We had a loss in August and everyone knew about it, and I don't want to tell everyone so early this time around.

Reveal - I actually snuck in to take a test late at night when DH took our dog out. Totally expecting a bfn. When it came back bfp I ran outside and just kept saying I really need you to come here. Then I cried a lot because I'm a baby!
Announcements - There are people who know but it has not been officially announced. Turns out my mouth is much bigger than DH. Had to tell management at work today because m/s decided it would start today and I was insanely sick but didn't want to go home, had to explain I wasn't contagious. We will tell family at Christmas!

How you revealed BFP to your significant other: First thing he said to me that morning was that he had a dream last night. Then DD came into our room. He went with her to her room and put a movie on. When he came back he got back into bed and I said "I had a dream last night too. I dreamed I was pregnant. Then I woke up, and went to the bathroom, and realized I wasn't dreaming" When he realized what I meant he just went crazy!
Have you announced to any other family or friends: I told one of my friends that is due in July, and we told his work (he's a Marine) but we are waiting to tell our family Christmas day.
