Tips for taming the curls?

I use detangler but once I comb, the curls fall out. I don't want to use a lot of products, but something to help hold the curls. HELP!

Re: Tips for taming the curls?

  • Let it airdry.  Just brush it and let it go.  I have curly hair and if I brush it I lose my curls and get frizzy.

So I brush it once after showering then let it airdry.

or try blowdrying it and scrunch up the hair as you dry it.  When my nieces were little that is what worked best.

  • Comb when wet, if they need a little fingertwirling or scrunching do it, then let air dry.
  • I comb my hair in the shower with conditioner in it, then rinse and let it air dry.  I also use a mousse for curly hair.  I don't use any other product and I don't comb or brush my hair except in the shower (otherwise the curls fall out and it gets really frizzy.)
  • I have super curly hair, I just put some mousse on my hands and finger comb it through my hair then air dry.

All of this! And once it is dry, dont touch it constantly.

  • For my DD i usually just put a tiny, tiny amount of leave in conditioner in her hair then let it air dry.

Yes, sorry, I should have clarified that the post was meant for DD and not me. Smile
