Well, as of tomorrow the mutiny will officially be over. I'm just hoping I can make it out of the topaz month! Happy end of November everyone, bring on December!!!!
I'm still in shock. I could've sworn with every bone in my body that this baby was going to be a November baby. I figured I only had to go 3 days before my EDD & that wasn't a far stretch. Holy crap, I can't believe I'm still pregnant!

My sister tried to scare me with the whole, "I delivered my babies early. I never even got to 39 weeks so you never know."
She was trying to scare the crap out of me. Showed her! But her babies were taken early because of other reasons. #1 was induced at 38w4d because of BP and Pre-E #2 was emergency c-section at 38w2d because the accident.

That's what we are holding out for! Come on pretty birthstone!
This is why I told DH I didn't want the baby coming anytime in November. I don't like the birthstone at all. Oh and the fact that I want her to cook longer too, but thats a given lol

I told myself a couple of times that the more I said he would come early, the bigger the chance was that he would totally prove me wrong & come late. But then I kept telling myself since I delivered DS at 37w2d that it wasn't unreasonable to believe he'd come at least a few days early.
I guess that's just another reason they say every pregnancy is different.
And even more proof that your children begin trying to make you look like a fool even before they're ever born.
I thought for sure I would have a November baby too. And I don't even know what the December birthstone looks like! I'm going to look it up now. I already know what the November citrine looks like because it's my sister's birthstone.

honestly I don't really like the Dec birthstone, either. my birthday is in December and I've never bought for myself or let H buy me anything with it because I think it's ugly. I'll probably get a little something with my kids birthstones on it, either way.. but I always say I should have been born in April

yeah, but I'm born in April and people NEVER get you the real thing...

February has the prettiest stone. Amethyst, I might be biased because that's mine and it's purple.

I would have taken the November birthstone over the October one. The stone is opal, which isn't terrible, but the jewel is bright pink. Poor little guy. lol

But you have a boy so it's not too big a deal. But think about the pretty jewelry you can get with his birthstone.

Yeah, that's my husband's too. I kind of hate it for him.
On a related note, I'm wearing my emeralds today, how appropriate.

My birthday is in February too. What day? Mine is the 2nd and I love our birthstone.
DD is April so she has diamond. Totally fits her personality too!
Mine is the 19th. I think the purple and the blue Topaz is gorgeous together.

I love January's birthstone, Garnet, and have a very pretty ring with it for DS. I was really hoping to not go in November for the exact reasons listed above. I just cannot imagine Citrine next to Garnet being pretty...
I have a garnet ring and it is my favourite ring. I already have a blue topaz ring that my mom bought me for christmas a few years ago, because she thought it was aquamarine. (my birthstone) Our family ring will be pretty boring, aquamarine, diamond and blue topaz.

Re: Last Day of the Mutiny
C'mon blue topaz! You're much prettier than the yellow citrine. I'm already imagining the jewelry possibilities
This could start a board war: citrine vs. topaz.....
Someone already made jewelry for Paige with the Blue Topaz!

I am amazingly surprised your LO wasn't a November baby. Haven't you been dilated at a 4 for like a year now?!?

Very true. I'm still waiting on my diamonds.
I just google-imaged January's birthday, just to check it out. What was I even thinking?!
They don't let you go two weeks past your due date anymore, right?
