Has anyone else ordered from here?

I got my order today and I am a little disappointed with colors. I ordered the Kissaluvs cotton fleece newborn diaper in Orange Sherbert and it is literally pastel pink. Then I ordered a 2 pack of Lil-Joey and the screen was showing a green diaper, so I didn't think to mess with the color bar and the diapers arrived in purple, which I guess was the color that the color option was on because I didn't change it. So part my fault, but part fault of a confusing website.

Anyway, I call to find out what the exchange policy is, and of course it can't be as simple as I just return the two items I don't want for the same exact item in a different color. No, I have to mail them back, then they issue me a gift certificate so I can replace my order.

The "orange sherbert" diaper needs a cover, so that is not a big deal, but I abhor the color purple and we are having a boy. Total bummer to start my day.

Yeah you have to always watch your color options. I've ordered from Kelly's before and never had a problem customer service wise, but your complaint is a bit different.

I've never had an issue with them. That Kissaluv's color is off - it's not an issue with Kelly's but the way Kissaluv's describes it (mine came from another store and it was the same way).

Sorry it's a hassle though.

I know the Kissaluvs color is not an issue with Kelly's. It is just an annoying return policy, and I am wondering if I should just keep the purple diapers and use them for nighttime. They are only newborn, so it is not LO will be wearing them the whole diapering time.

I like Kelly's closet and haven't had a problem. You do have to choose your colors and its that way with every cloth diaper website. If it makes you feel any better I ordered a Thirsties cover (dont remember where from, I think Jillian's) and I chose what looked to be red to me. I got a phone call from dh when they arrived asking why I had bought a pink diaper. I don't blame jillians as it was either thirsties color bar or my eyes. And the boy can deal with a "rose" diaper cover at home with me.

And I dont understand your issue with the return policy. You send them back and re order.

Their GC are electronic. They'll send you a GC # And you use that as payment for your correct color choice. And the Kissaluvs colors are just off IMO anyway. Kelly's Closet is my fav place to buy diapers so hopefully this doesn't turn you away.
