Is there a way to stop crib chewing?

LO has taken to sinking her teeth into her crib.  I know I've seen this topic on here before and I think it is somewhat common, but I don't know how to stop it.  Any ideas?  TIA!

    Okay, I am going to preface this with saying, I am not sure if there is a safe product for humans that is similar-  but with my horse when she chews on something there is this stuff that tastes super bitter. I will put it on whatever surface she is chewing on and it works like a charm.

    I think they may have something like this that they use for kids who bite their nails. Maybe you could try that on the crib?

    I have also seen crib teething protectors at BRU before.

    Don't they make plastic pieces to cover the edges of the crib? Your boxer is absolutely beautiful BTW. My favorite type of dog!

    Eventually they stop biting. Unless you're going to sit in there with her every moment of every time LO is in the crib and prevent her from doing it, she's going to have the opportunity -- you just protect the crib until that stage is over.

    I made fabric covers for our crib rails that were thick enough that DD1 could bite into the padding but not get to the rail underneath. I didn't think there were very good reviews on the rubber ones and I didn't want to risk damaging our crib. Plus, my fabric ones are washable.

    I just cut long rectangles of fabric, put layers of quilting in the middle, and attached some ties so I could tie them to the crib rails. I've also heard of people tying their crib bumpers over the rails.

    I bought the fabric rail protectors from BRU. They won't be here until tomorrow and LO is after those rails. He will rub his mouth back and forth along the rail, so he is temporarily banned from the crib.
