H doesn't like anything I suggest, but will not suggest any names.  I told him this morning that I am done giving him suggestions.  He has to decide with the ones I gave him. My last 2 suggestions were Sloan and Maverick.  Before I was annoyed that we do not have a name, but now I am just pissed off.  I have looked through every name I could find and have given him literally every name I would even think of considering.  I am not having a name that I don't like at all, just because he will not make a decision.  I am just naming him what I want now, screw him.

    I pretty much told DH what I was naming Asher and then told him to feel free to pick a middle name.  He was very good at telling me what he didn't like, but offered no suggestions.  I wanted names pegged down for our big ultrasound, so I could start referring to him by his name.  DH now loves Asher's name.

    If he isn't going to help, then dont stress yourself out. Show him the list of options, and pick your fav name.

    Go with the name you love, either he will jump on board or he will start making suggestions. just IMO. Good luck.

    I feel for your DH.  I wouldn't choose Sloan or Maverick if you held a gun to my head.  And now it sounds like you're throwing a tantrum because you're not getting your way.

    Maybe wait a week, let everything cool off.  Sit down with him when he's in a good mood and go through a name book together.  Don't mention any of your choices and just see what he seems to like.

    I've given up as well.  DH is frustrating me as far as names go.  We've had a girls name for awhile, which was one of my suggestions, but he won't throw out any boy name suggestions.  He'll just either veto mine or say they're OK.  I'd really like him to be a bigger part of the naming process especially since I'm not excited about any boy names, but it just doesn't look like it'll happen.  Here's hoping we have a girl just to make the naming process easier.

    My point is that I am at the bottom of my barrel for name suggestions, I have given him dozens of names, and now I am just trying anything that he might even bite at, and his suggestion was to just keep telling him names, like it hasn't taken hours of my time to come up with the ones I want.  So, again I say, SCREW HIM!!  If he doesn't want to put the work into it, he doesn't get to pick anymore!!!!!

    I did the same thing with my DH last pregnancy.... I had a list of 3 (after weeks of going through books and him shooting everything down)

    1) Juliet

    2) Annalise

    3)Madeline

     He didn't like any of them, but he wouldn't suggest anything else, so I said if you don't come up with anything else, her name is Annalise.... Lo and behold a few days later he started to look through the book (and I got to say no) but we did end up with Gwendalyn (his choice, but I liked it too).  I don't know if it will work for you, but decide on a name, and say if you don't like it, you have to come up wit what you do like.  But you have to be nice, and not just shoot down all of his names, I let him put some on a list I thought were ok and we narrowed it down from there..     Sloane is a girls name and Maverick is just BAD. What else have you given him to chose from? Maybe he doesn't know how to tell you that he doesn't like your style of names.
