  What are you nervous about? Just not being able to nurse anymore or her nutrition?

  My DD is down to one nursing sess at night. She will only nurse when she is sleepy and takes a bottle the rest of the time. I just can't seem to let go of nursing her. She clearly isn't into it but, I don't want to give it up.

  I feel you! We're weaning for dietary reasons and it's so much harder on me than it is on her! Our morning and bedtime sessions are the big ones... it's our snuggle time and I don't know how we're going to handle that.

  i am worried about her nutrition as well as the loss of snuggle time--!  i fear she is going to feel like she isn't getting her emotional needs met.  the night nursing is more of a comfort for her than a feeding.  she refused the bottle so she was always straight from the tap!  and she drinks from a sippy but it is stressing me out.

  I am a nurse/bottle to sleep kind of mama (gasp!), and I feel the same way. Not only weaning from nursing but starting a sippy for other than juice and water. I feel like she won't feel cuddled enough if she just takes her milk from a sippy (when she reaches a year old).
