Total Newbie Question (bleeding mentioned)

My current m/c began two weeks ago on Sunday. As of yesterday I was still bleeding. It was not as heavy as it was at its peak, but was still red. So far today it is only brown spotting. Is it normal to bleed for two weeks?

With my first m/c I only bled for one week. I guess that's why I am concerned. The first m/c was a missed m/c and I took cytotec. This one happened naturally.

I go in today for another blood draw to find out if my betas are back to zero.

I bled for 2 weeks with my 2nd m/c. It was much heavy than my first m/c. I think it just varies.

Sorry buddy

I bled for about 3 weeks after my loss, but the last week was only light brown spotting, so I'm sure you're close to the end. Good luck at the doctor's, I hope your betas are back to zero. I will say that mine were zero and I even ovulated when I was still spotting, so I hope things get back on track for you soon!

FWIW, I started my natural miscarriage two weeks ago tomorrow. For the first week it was just red spotting and didn't require a pad. Then last Wednesday (day before Thanksgiving, nice huh?) I started HEAVY bleeding. That lasted thru Saturday night. Then yesterday it stopped altogether. To early today to tell what today will bring, but so far, nothing. Hope the worst is behind us both so we can focus on moving forward.

Thanks, ladies. I feel better knowing that it is probably normal. I am just so ready for the physical part to be over so that I don't have the daily reminder of what happened.

I had a natural miscarriage and between spotting and bleeding I bled for about 2 1/2 - 3 weeks. It wasn't pleasant but I think it was pretty standard.

I hope it stops soon.
