I went and got mine inspected a few weeks back and what she told me is that I shouldn't use the snuzzler or bundle me with the car seat, that anything behind the babies back is not good. Apparently the babies back must be up against the car seat to get the most out of it (that including no snow suits). Anyone else told that? ooh...and also, she said no baby mirrors (ya know, the one that you would put on the back of the seat to see the baby), that if god forbid we were in an accident it could possibly injure or kill the baby (that went back right away...I'm a little neurotic lol). But, now I'm sad that I shouldn't use the snuzzler or bundle me on the car seat (I can use it on the stroller tho'). =/
Re: Anyone get their car seat inspected?
I never saw the shower cap style before...I will definitely check it out! Thanks.
I was going to cut the back out of my Bundle Me, but my sister had the shower cap style, so I just took the other back.
They also say no heavy coats on baby in the car seat, either. A blanket over LO will be just fine. Oh, and it's best to unzip the car seat cover once the car is warm. Don't want to overheat the baby!
Here is a good video about thick coats and snow suits. On why they should not be used.

Definitely. We learned so much in our carseat class.
Basically, if it didn't come with the carseat, DON'T use it as it voids the warranty (if it goes between seat & baby). If you void the warranty, you may give up your legal rights for the manufacturer to pay the medical bills should the seat fail during a crash.
We took back all the mirrors for store credit. Problems with those are potential of becoming projectiles during a crash, & parent watches the rearview mirror while driving instead of looking forward.
