I think it's a nice name and goes well with Charlotte. It's a little boring for my taste, but it's strong and masculine---easy to spell and say, and not a name he'll ever be made fun of for. So a solid choice.
I really like this name and had originally chosen it for DS #2, but then I started meeting little Owens everywhere I turned. Just last week I met two that were under the age of two. If the popularity doesn't bother you, then it is a great name, but be prepared for him to have other Owen's in his class.

Well the other day I was watching a thing on Party of Five and the baby was name Owen... It might be up there on my list. Dh refuses to talk about names until we know what we are having... Next week . thanks for your input...
