HELP! Sharp pains below belly button, above pubic bone, is it normal?

It only happens when the babies are moving but I get these sharp pains in the center bottom of my belly button and right above pubic bone as if someone is taking a needle and stabbing the inside of my belly with it, but it only happens for a sec or 2 when I notice they are moving a lot. Anyone else experience that, need to know if I should call the nurse. I've been laying down ALL day today and only got up once today to go downstairs and came back up to lay down. I also only get up to use the bathroom or shower, just getting a little nervous here. I also had it most of the night last night, the sharp sensation nothing else..

    i used to get a sharp pain that i compared to someone pulling a rubber band inside of me.... my docs said it was normal.

    if you concerned - call your doc... chances are it's nothing (there are LOTS of normal aches/pains with pg, esp twins)... but it's never bad to call and ask. that's what they get paid for.

    I had this horribly. Of course when I called they sent me to L and D. They just said one of the babies was kicking a nerve. I still have it sometimes but not as bad as at about 6 months.
