Got to tell the family today :)
I was so nervous I couldn't finish my first plate of Thanksgiving! It was a little sad, but I have leftovers galore, so I can just keep grazing now.
We waited until dessert time to tell. I had gotten two little bibs - one Iowa Hawkeye, one Iowa State. I pulled out the Iowa State one and said "This is for next Thanksgiving for baby E." (Sister is expecting in Feb, she and her H went to Iowa State) and all thought that was cute.
Then I pulled out the Hawkeye one and said "and this is for next Thanksgiving for baby C!" ::cue total silence:: "I mean...there's going to be a baby C!" ...more silence...followed by slow smiles, followed by lots of squealing and hugs...it took them a while, but when they got it it was great!
I wish I had pictures, but of course I didn't think about it. I'm SO glad they all know now. Excited to tell ILs tomorrow and start calling friends and all that. YAYYYY BABY!
