When will my rings ever fit again?

Ugh, its been 9 weeks PP and my rings still don't fit :( I had alot of swelling during my pregnancy and my swelling is gone and I lost my baby weight and they still don't fit. I miss them! How long did it take you to get your rings to fit again? Or did you have to have them made bigger?


 6/09 right tube loss (fallopian torsion) 12/09 BFP #1 (DD born 9/10)

    Mine rings don't fit yet either. I hate to have them resized because I know as soon as I do my swelling will completely go away and then they will be to big! Stick out tongue

    Hi Ladies,

     I thought the same thing when my LO was born..I thought my rings should have fit again right away..I didnt gain that much weight and it came off pretty quick..give it time.. I would say wait until your LO is at least 2-3 months old..I know it seems like a long time and it killed me not to wear my rings..I wore them around my neck for a lil bit cuz i hated being asked why I wasnt wearing them! Good luck!

    It took longer than I expected.  I just started wearing them a few weeks ago, but it was after I had gotten back to my prepregnancy weight.  For some reason the knuckle stayed swollen longer than other parts of me :)

    Mine starting fitting a couple weeks ago -- around week 7. I still haven't lost all of my baby weight yet. They are definitely tighter around the knuckles than they normally are during the winter.

    Mine still don't fit after 3 1/2 months, but then again, I still have another 24 lbs to lose to be at my pre-preg weight.  I had a ton of swelling that did completely go down after about 6 weeks total, but at this point, it's just the overall weight increase that's keeping mine from fitting.  I'm working on it.  If I resize, that's taking away another motivation to hit up the gym.

    mine still dont fit at 4 months pp. I feel like my knuckles are even bigger. Everyone tells me not to have them resized but I'd really like to wear them again!

    I feel you. My son is 8 weeks and my rings still dont fit. Not to mention they were STUCK ON MY HANDS for 3 months before I could even get them off.

    I am just waiting. I occasionally see if they will go back on, but the answer is still no.

    I'm in the same boat! I've lost all my pregnancy weight, but the rings still don't fit and LO is 2 months old already! They were slightly tight before, so I'm going to break down in a month and resize if they still don't fit.

    I could fit mine on at about 11 weeks.  They are still a little tight, but I still have about 20 pounds of pregnancy weight to lose.
