  I don't watch Teen Mom and I never will. I think you're just fine. Besides, it won't be long before that show is a distant memory.

  In 5 years nobody will remember or care where or who Amber from Teen Mom was. If you love the name go for it. Not everyone watches that crap show anyway and unless your DH is Gary and you're abusive, and horrid I doubt anyone will liken you to them because you have the same name. :P

  yeah, I don't even watch Teen Mom but I'd still make the connection.  in the long run it probably won't matter at all, but you'll definitely get comments on it.

  I wouldn't associate either name with Teen Mom.  There may be a lot of people out there who might, but if they did that is their issue.  I watched one episode and have never watched it again, it was that bad to me.  That being said, I think Leah is a beautiful name, if you love it, go for it.

  How many of your friends and family watch Teem Mom?  In my circles, no one would make the connection.  But if you are all getting together and gossiping about what happened on the last episode then I wouldn't do it.

  The only teen mom I know is Amber which sucks because I love that name. Leah doesn't ring any trashy show bells for me, so paired with Gabriel, I'd see the biblical trend.
