I was a wretched b*tchface (Black Friday related)

I was so rude to a cashier today. I was annoyed at everyone at B and BW and I took it out on the poor cashier. 

 

I still feel bad about it...I was disgustingly nice to every person who rang me up the rest of this morning. I worked retail for a LONG time, I should know better. 

In better news, Wegmans was a ghost town. You could see tumbleweeds in the parking lot around 10:30. It was awesome. 

Anyone get some  great deals today? My best tip for everyone is to run to your local B&BW and get a candle named "Fresh Balsam". It smells like butt right in the jar but once you light it up it is the best Xmas candle ever made. DH is obsessed with it.

    I spent lots at the Gap this morning, everthing was 50% off - I got my first item for the new baby!  I also stocked up at B&BW.  All I wanted was some soap, but I ended up spending $60 and got the VIP bag of stuff.

    What was in the bag? I have their bag from about 3 years ago and LOVE IT (it was my hospital bag when Jack was born) but wasn't crazy about the look of this one.

    I don't really like the bag either, but there is a ton of stuff in there!  Full size shower gel, lotion, hand soap, frangrence mist, men's body wash, exfoliant poof thing, wall flower with your fresh balsam sent and a small anti bacterial gel. 

    I was going to use it for a $20 gift exchange that I have, but I may be keeping it...

    Thanks for the candle rec--I'm always looking for ones that will make my house smell like we have a fresh tree.

    Patty- the cashier probably had really cool bags stuffed under her register for super nice, non b!tchy customers. Wink

    EH, no worries PPC. 

    I ran over to the Gap (it was in a strip mall, so super easy) and planned to get some jeans. When I got teh 50% off memo, well, I added another pair of pants, a sweater for me and dd and some shirts.  A true maternity score!

    I yelled at a customer service lady on the phone last week (I had just HAD it with dealing with people, but she herself didn't do anything to me) and I STILL feel bad about it.  I hate that feeling.  :(  MH has to talk to clients on the phone all day, and sometimes they call him horrible names if their funds aren't doing well, and it really ruins his day.  I hate those people for treating him poorly.  Pot, meet kettle.
