Confused! (a bit lengthy)

I had a D&C 9 weeks ago tomorrow after a m/c at 11w3d... I started feeling nauseous about 2 weeks ago & took a HPT. Then another, and another, and another. All 4 were positive. I was confused because I wasn't sure if they were still showing positive from before, though 7 weeks later I thought that my levels MUST have gone down... I have no insurance until January first so I can't go see my OB :( I went to the department of health, all they could do was a urine test...whatdya know, it was positive. Anyways, the other day I started bleeding a little and of course freaked out thinking it was another m/c. The bleeding stopped always right away and hasn't continued at all. I still feel nauseous literally all day long, and the sight of food makes me want to yack. UGH, I don't know what to do.

    have you had a period?  if you have then your probably pregnant, if you haven't then you could be pregnant.Look and see if there is a planned parenthood that you could go to, or a "pro life clinic" they might do an ultrasound.(ours does them for free)

    Call your OB even though you don't have insurance they should still be able to tell you if your levels should have droped by now or if they think that you could be pregnant. (should talk to you over the phone for free)

    Could you have gotten pregnant between the time of your D&C and when you started testing?  Just thinking that there was enough time in there to have gotten a new BFP.  That would explain some of the nausea too.  If you call your doctor I would think they'd do more than a pee test, maybe a u/s to date the (possible) pregnancy.

    I agree with all the PPs but also add my beta levels didn't go "negative" until 9 weeks after my D&C and I was 9w pregnant. At 11w your numbers may have been higher and could still be falling. Or, you could be pg again. Or, you could have some retained tissue from the D&C, which would explain why your levels are still showing pregnant and you haven't gotten your period. You really won't know without an ultrasound. Good luck and I hope you feel better.
