I'm exhausted from practice tonight. We're going to DH's moms in the afternoon. I love to go there to eat. We will watch the Macy's Parade on TV before hand. The boys get excited over the bands, floats and balloons.

    What are you're plans?

That sounds very relaxing and fun!

MH and I are driving to Dallas (about 3 hour drive) to visit his grandpa. His parents are also driving down from OK and the 5 of us will go somewhere for lunch. We'll get back in the evening and because that just isn't Thanksgiving for me, we'll do the whole Turkey-dinner on Friday for just the two of us Big Smile

  • I do not have to much to ask. Just curious if anyone has ever had cramps kinda in their up abs? I have not gone to a gym in months and all day today my ab muscles are cramping like I have done 400 sit ups or crunches! Weird..guess thats my phantom symptom this month haha
  • And another...

Do any of you ever worry that your chart will be off because you don't mark CD1 correctly?  For example, I worry that maybe I selected "light" when technically I was really still spotting.  This may just be me overanalyzing things ; )

You do have more than one chart that you are trying to overlay, right?

I have October's chart, and now Novembers.  This is cycle 2 for me.  Can I not overlay them in the middle of a cycle?

The first day of red flow is CD 1. If I only have spotting, then that is what I mark. As soon as AF is enough that I need to use a tampon/pad, I mark CD1.

Cd1 I believe should be bright flow.. spotting doesn't count as cd1 I had that issue this cycle because I NEVER spot before AF and this time I did sso I looked through the faq

I know it is WAY to early to tell anything, just thought it was very weird. I have never had muscles cramps like this unless I have worked out. Maybe from the other day I helped a friend wash her three dogs with a water hose lol. Who knows :)

You can, just selsct the option "Pin all cycle at start of cycle". The default is set to "Ovulation" and since your second chart doesn't have that yet, it won't do the overlay.

My LP is 11/12 days long, so to me it doesn't matter too much if I am off by one day with CD 1, so no, I never really worried about that yet. If I had a short LP, every day would count. I understand what you mean thoughSmile

  • Since my LP is usually 11 days, when should I test? I ask because on pregnancy tests it says you can test several days before your missed period, but if I did that it would only be 8 days or so past ovulation. Does that make sense? TIA :)

Implanation usually occurs between 6 and 10 DPO, so 8 DPO is too early in most cases. Here is the accuracy chart:

HPT Accuracy Results Percentages: (Based on a 25mIU sensitive test)
    10 dpo : 35%
    11 dpo : 51%
    12 dpo : 62%
    13 dpo : 68%
    14 dpo : 74%
    15 dpo : 80%
    16 dpo : 88%
    17 dpo : 92%

  • image**Papps**:

I took two today and both were negative.  I dunno!! lol  I'm doubtful I'll even O but trying to be hopeful Smile  What are you up to tonight?

Of course you'll ovulate, there is no doubt!

I want to switch out our Kingsize bed with the Queen from our guest room tonight. I have a terrible back ache since 5 days now and I think it's the mattress. MH is playing soccer right now, so I'll have to wait for him to come home to give me a hand Smile How about you?

Not so sure about the ovulating part... the odds are largely stacked against me!

We have a crappy mattress too, so ready for a new one just not ready to fork out the dough. Hopefully this new one works better for you!

MH is playing Gran Turismo (the one that just came out today) and my bff is cheering him on lol I'm bumping and making dinner :)

GING DAHLING!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW THE HECK ARE YOU?

Hopefully your body will surprise you this month!

New mattresses are so very expensive, I agree. That's why I want to try out our queen one first to see if it really is the mattress that is causing my back pain. Not even my pain killers help, so I am hopeful.

It sounds like you are having a wonderful evening. What's for dinner?

  • This is my first month charting.  I'm finding it a little bit stressful to take my temperature during the latter part of the 2WW.  When I wake up I'm a bit anxious.  I think, "Is my temp still high or did it take a nose dive?"  So, my husband suggested I stop taking my temperature at this stage in the 2WW.  Would someone please explain to me if there is any point to still temping at this point?  Thanks!
  • Can you tell me if I'm pregnant?   Just joking...

On my chart there is a square that came up under "stats" , what does that mean?

Also since I am now on cycle day 45 and only just started temping I am assuming FF is wrong in telling me that I ovulated recently BUT is it possible I ovulated without having another period this month?

Sometimes FF gives you your CH's and then over the next few days realizes that it was wrong and moves them to a later date, depending on your temperatures. I have never had that happened yet, but I am only temping since 5 months now and I did see it happen a few times on the board.

I understand that you get anxious, I am the same way. I tried to not temp in the 2ww last month and it didn't work, lol.

The stats squares will have colors next month to show you when your fertile period was previously (the squares on o-day will be green) and when you had AF (red squares). It makes it easier to see your stats at one glance.

Yes, it is possible that you already ovulated.

Thanks for responding so quickly!  I had heard about FF sometimes moving your CHs to a later date.  I guess I just figured at this late in my 2WW, there was no way FF would change my O date.

Oh well, I'm definitely going to continue taking my temperature for the rest of this cycle.  I'll see how I feel about it next cycle. Have a great Thanksgiving!

This cycle FF will not move your CH's anymore, I promise. You have a very clear shift and ovulation definitely happened when FF gave you the CH's. So if you want to sleep in over the next few days and not take your temperatures, this would be a good time to do that Big Smile

Happy Thanksgiving to you as well!
