WDYT about John David? Too plain? Would people call Rowan (Ruh-wahn) instead of (Roh-when)?

My Kindegarten boyfriend was John David and everyone called him John David as if it was his duel first name . I like it!

I would say Rowan as Roh-when.

Only boy name so far... Benjamin Harper

Harper is my MIL' maiden name and that name was not carried on by anyone in her family. We love the name, too - so it works. Although I just realized that people might think we named him after the singer... hmmm, this may require more thought.

Need good girl names... like simple names like Anne, Anna, Laura, Elizabeth, etc.

DD's name is Olivia Nicole(Nicole is my middle name)....

If we have another girl it will probably be Hannah Rae(Ray is my husbands middle name)

If we have a boy his name will be Owen Michael(Owen is my mom's maiden name, and michael is my dad and step dads names and my brothers middle name).

My SS's daughters are Hannah and Olivia... too funny

For a boy I like Christopher Tomas but DH's middle name and his dad's name is Gabriel so I think I will just agree!

For a girl we have Lily Mae (My grandmother's name was Lillian Mae, so we're just cutting her name short a little bit )

Girl: I love the name Ella but I'm not sure if it stands on its own or if I should name her Eleanor/Elliot. I also love Olivia. MN will probably be Dawn after my mother.

Boy: James, Tyler, or Thomas (BF suggestion). MN either Robert (after FIL) or Richard (after GFIL)

I just want to fast forward a few months so I can start calling baby a real name instead of whatever fruit it is this week.

Michael Ryan is because my dads name is Michael and DH is Ryan.

If it's a girl her name will be Riley Lynn because Riley after DH ( we call DH Ry a lot do it fits to us) and Lynn since it is my middle and it's a family tradition.

Only way it changes from Michael Ryan is if we have a girl first. The the boy will be named Michael Hunter.

My Mom started the Hebrew tradition and DH and I both wanted to continue it. My siblings and I were: Leah, Levi and Philip.
DS is Isaac Levi which means "He who Laughs" and "Joined." We really like the meaning behind the above names.

Wow, I love ALL of your names. Our baby has been named since we were dating. Jack for a boy or Amelia for a girl. We're still not sure about middle names.

I think we are mostly decided on a girls name, but boys names....that's quite the challenge!

Girls- Charlotte is our favorite! I love the name Ella, but DH keeps saying no. We want to use my Mom's first, middle, or last name as a middle name- and we are letting her choose.

Boys- We liked Owen for a long time, but are open to changing our mind. The middle name will definitely be James (for my Grandfather). Other first names we like are Max, Trevor and Carson.

The names I have picked: Quinn, Isaac, Casper, Micha,and Marshall-- and for girls: Ramona Ruth, Claudia, Audrey, Evelyn, Ivy, Elenore, Elizabeth.

The names DH has picked (All for boys): Colton (nn Colt, as in the Indy Colts Tongue Tied , Aiden and Reese

I did get him to like the name Reese for a girl and I threw out Owen for a boy lastnight and he liked it. In fact some movie preview came on with Reese Witherspoon and Owen Wilson and he said "Hey, there's our kids..."

So, Owen Michael is really growing on me.

I would really like to use Michael or Rutherford as a MN for a boy. Michael is DH's MN and Rutherford is my maiden name. I would also like to use Ruth as a MN for a girl- but I am kind of open on this.

Girl: DH likes Claire, I like Clara (our last name begins w/R -- Claire R is annoying to me. Sorta like how Heather R is annoying to me. Which is my name now haha). Maybe Clara Grace, or Claire Veda if he gets his way.

Boy: So hard. Ugh. I like Emerson and Harrison. I love Jack but husb nixed that ("yea, so ppl can call him Jack Sh!t!" I think he's exaggerating.) I LOVE Damien but everyone I know nixed that (the Omen. Sigh.) Husb likes Walden (all I hear is Waldo. No.) Lucas is a big contender for me but I have an (estranged) cousin Lucas so I don't know if that would be awkward.

So, we either have to find something we agree on for a boy, or just have a girl.

How awesome is that... I really like Cristina with an H however, the spanish way of spelling it and the way my mother spells her name has it without the H....and ofcourse the Denise for my MIL which I totally adore...so it was an easy yet Beautiful choice if its in our cards to have a little girl....

this time we have girls names and can't really agree on boy's names....Our DS is Beckett Russell (Russell was my grandfather) and this time around we would like to use Lee as a mn (family tradition) Our last name starts with an O so we can't do a B fn....intitials would be B.L.O...not good

Honestly when I hear John David I think of the Duggars because that's one of their sons' names. When I said "Rowan" in my head it sounded like "Roh-when"
