Do you give LO pain medicine when

they have a nasty diaper rash? this is sara's 1st and I feel so sorry for her!

I thinking about giving her some at bedtime WDTY?

  • OMG I just did an image google search on diaper rash..omg I almost cried! sara's is not that bad!!!!!!!!! don't look! there are some terrible pictures!!
  • I have never done that. I guess if they are really showing you that they are in pain, that might be helpful. Our ped recommended mixing aquaphor and mylanta and that usually helps soothe and heal the rash if it gets really bad(like a more acidic rash).

  • Poor baby! What diaper cream are you using? If the rash is really bad,  your pedi can call  recommend a stronger cream that is sold behind the counter or call in a prescription strength cream. Good Luck!
