Ive always just said congrats and butted out before but I would like to argue that it is not the same as approaching strangers and announcing your pregnancy. It is like approaching a group of girls you have never talked to that you KNOW are TTC and say "guess what?! I got preggo on my first try!!" Rude, huh? That being said... Congrats OP. I'm sure you didn't do that intentionally. I wish you a H&H pregnancy and I sincerely hope you are wrong and ALL of us see you in 1st Tri.

    Don't know if I really want to get involved with this, but if you click her SN you'll see that this is at least her 4th post on this board (she could have more) including a post on asking for help charting. True, it only dates back 1 week prior to this posting but it shows that at least she was trying to get involved in the board.

    Imagine you are walking down the street, and a complete stranger walks up to you and says "OMG, I am pregnant! SQUUUEEEEE" and then walks away...you would totally be like "WTF?"

     

    It isn't the fact that we are not happy she is pregnant. Yay for her...congrats, all that jazz....

     I wouldn't be all wtf about it, I'd probably laugh, but I get excited when anyone is pregnant. Maybe I'm a weirdo? Ha.. I just don't understand when people make rude sounding remarks about it, there's really no need for that kind of attitude anywhere on a forum like this.

    People make "rude" comments because this is the TRYING to get pregnant board! There will be plenty of people on 1st tri that will be happy for her. Most girls over here, well at least I, don't really give two shiits if she got KU on her 1st try.

    It's just been awhile since a newb tried to tell the board how to act. We are actually overdue to hear how mean this whole board is.

     I'm not telling anyone how to act, just stating my opinion, and I'm not saying how mean the whole board is, just that a lot of people seem to have a stick up their butts. I've met plenty of nice people on here. If people really don't care, why bother even taking the time to flame? It's much easier to just ignore the post all together.
