DH says yes because her first word would be "dada". I'm not so sure because I think she's just repeating it after he says it. I don't know if she knows it means him or not...???

    She is soooo cute. I say yes!
    02/08 BFP resulted in m/c 4/10/08 (11 weeks)
    10/08 Clomid Cycle #1 = m/c 11/7/08 (6 weeks)
    03/09 Clomid Cycle #2 = BFN
    3 rounds of Femara + Ovidrel + IUI =BFN
    10/18/09 2nd Break Cycle (post HSG) before IVF #1 = BFP!

    My DD does that too. Sometimes she does it with mama. We are trying to decide if it counts as her first word or not also. I think until they say it and know what it means I wouldn't count it personally. But either way she is adorable!!!

    Adorable. But not a first word IMO. Dylan did this around 6 months and then started doing it with mama around 8 months. I think we are going to count his first word as "hi" for 11 months because he uses it properly.
    After 2 m/cs, dx October 2008 with hetero factor v leiden & mthfr & low progesterone; third time was the charm - BFP 3/19/09 on first cycle of clomid. Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker

    Not sure if it is technically a first word. At Madeline's nine month check up, the pediatrician asked if she was babbling saying dada, baba, etc. and I said yes. So is it a word or babble? She started saying it around 8 months and now she knows Dada means Dad and she looks at him when he comes in the room now and says Daddy or Dad. She also says Mom now and knows it is me. She started saying up and hi recently so I dont know if those are really her first words. Either way that is a big milestone when they start doing that. I love hearing my Madeline do it. Enjoy!
