Ladies who have already had a baby, what are you looking least forward to this time around?
For me, I would have to say that first 2 weeks of breastfeeding where I nearly cried every time DS would latch on. Raw nipples hurt and I thought they would never heal.
Re: 2nd timers...I'm least looking forward too...
having to clean my csection incision, very annoying, especially when in pain.
Sleeping issues. (DS is almost a year and a half and still wakes up 2 times a night at least)
Preterm labor/potential NICU stay is at the top of the this too.
If I have to EP again then that makes it into the top three. EPing is the most horrible thing ever. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
Oh and DS had colic AND reflux so if that happens again just shoot me now.
This and breastfeeding issues. Alex didnt latch on right away so it was very frustrating. It took about 3 weeks for him to understand the concept then after two months he didnt want the breast anymore. Hopefully this time around its a little easier.
I'm not looking forward to pooping for the first time. I really did think my insides would fall out.
Having sex after the 6 wk okay from the Dr. I swear it hurt for 6 mths after giving birth, I had an episiotomy (sp?) and was BFing so I know that didn't help any.
AND no sleep!
This is very true! Thankfully our hospital doesnt require you to do that before you leave. Cause I would probably still be at the hospital! O and the peri-bottle how i loved that thing!! Never knew a squirt bottle would make everything feel better.. LOL!!!
This was my first thought.
Second was just the general disruption to our schedule.
OMG! I forgot about that! I remember being terrified that I would rip my stitches out.

Jason is 8
Elizabeth is 6
Katherine is 18 months
This a million times this.
I'm not looking forward to the schedule disruption either.
Ah, the squirt bottle was heaven!

Ugh, the raw nipples. Showering was HELL for weeks. Somedays I took a shower with a bra on b/c the direct water hurt so badly, even with soft water and a soft sprayer!
And the hormones that lead you to want to kill DH for no reason.

I love these two beautiful children!
Top three:
C/s recovery
pp bleeding
sore nips from bfing
The bleeding- YUCK! I use a mesntrual cup for my cycles so HAVING to use a pad and feel is leading out is just TORTURE!
Other than that I loved everything. The labor, the birth, breastfeeding. EVERYTHING.
My Blog
If I have a similar experience to last time...then I'm least looking forward to the pp iron supplements + resulting constipation + hemmies + stitches from tearing.
Hopefully I won't tear again or have a pp hemorrhage.
put me in the constipation column. Oh it was terrible. I thought I was going to have to go back to the hospital for a poopectomy.
The second thing is the sleepless nights. That was pretty bad too.
That godawful smell of the PP bleeding.
And lack of sleep.
SAME!!!! Wasn't BFing but I had an epistiotomy too and sex hurt soooooooooooooooooo badly for a LONG time. It's still not 100% comfortable a lot of the times.
This! But I would say 3 months. We have a good sleeper and eater. I can only hope for #2 be as easy!
I'm undecided about BFing again, but that would probably be at the top of my list. It was hell with DS, so if I do decide to give it a go, I'm hoping for a much better experience.
Other than that, the sleepless nights that comprised the first 8 weeks and the c/s recovery.
