Leaving you
We lost our twins on 11/7/10 at 13w1d, so I will be leaving you. I went into pre-term labor on 11/3/10 and found out that my cervix was shrinking. The doctors warned me that it was likely we would lose the babies over the weekend. We were a little more hopeful on the 5th and 6th when the contractions stopped, but early in the morning of the 7th, they started up again and I started bleeding heavily. We went to the ER and they confirmed that I was losing the babies and there was nothing we could do. I started hemorrhaging so they needed to do an emergency D&C. I lost the babies while we were waiting for the OR to be ready.
We are heartbroken and absolutely devastated.
I wanted to thank you all for being so supportive. I hope you all have healthy, uneventful pregnancies and very healthy babies.
